Sisi Dinner Living History offers an immersive experience that reaches far beyond the expectations of a traditional evening meal. Guests step into a refined world shaped by imperial elegance and ceremonial ritual. From the moment of arrival they are welcomed as members of the court and gently guided through a living narrative inspired by the life of the Empress Sisi. The evening unfolds through a sequence of carefully staged scenes that reveal the changing moods of her remarkable journey. Live performers faithful costumes and evocative historical projections surround the audience and dissolve the boundary between past and present. Each moment is designed to awaken curiosity emotion and wonder. A violet sparkling wine created especially for the occasion by Monika Mosser opens the experience. Its floral aroma and soft perlage invite the senses to drift into an atmosphere of romance grace and quiet rebellion that defined the Empress spirit.
The culinary highlight is an exclusive meal served with ceremonial elegance in the grand banquet hall of the historic Hotel Stefanie. The setting carries centuries of stories within its walls and provides a dignified stage for a hearty steak prepared with bold spice or a refined vegetarian porcini ravioli. Each dish reflects the warmth and depth of imperial hospitality. Music fills the hall and sung contemporary testimonies echo the voices of the past. These performances bring the scenes to life and offer rare glimpses into the private poetic reflections of Sisi herself. Through sound taste and storytelling the evening becomes an intimate encounter with history. Guests leave not only entertained but transformed. They depart with the feeling of having truly lived within another era and shared a secret moment with an unforgettable Empress.

A must visit if you want to know more about Sisi and her life. Having watched shows about her life, this is a must stop for me. You should buy tickets in advance. Get the earliest timed entry at 9am if possible so that there will be less people and you can have some of the areas all to yourself. They offer free audioguides on sight. This is a relatively small museum so you only need 1-2hrs to get through the entire museum.

Please read about the story behind Sisi and Josef...it helps bring the place to life. As for the tour, a bit strange in some parts, because of low lighting and people with older vision cannot see well...tour was ok. The gift shop was bit too much. Beautiful treasures to be seen. Good look into the past

This might be controversial but I completely disliked it. Sisi’s life is interesting but it’s something you can’t really observe here: she was always away and traveling so the museum and palace is quite anonymous. The objects shown are mostly boring and quite everything is a reproduction. I visited many castles and museums like this and somehow I always felt the history in it and saw something special, that didn’t happen here. The palace is wonderful from the outside but I feel like paying 20€ for the museum is completely not worth it.

Wonderful area to explore around the Sisi Museum. The architecture is rich with detail, and the courtyards feel majestic and lively. The entrance area with the carriage traffic adds so much character. A must-see part of Vienna’s imperial complex.

The Sisi museum is located within the magnificent Hofburg Palace in Vienna, and my purchased single ticket 20€ includes access to the Sisi Museum itself, the Imperial Apartments. The exhibition overall tells begins with Sisi's assassination and moves backward through her life, highlighting her rebellious nature, her obsession with beauty and freedom. The museum experiences came with an audio guide that is included with the admission and is highly recommended as it provides essential historical context around the museum.
