A fun way to navigate through Zwolle, even if you're familiar with the area. However, we encountered a few questions that required guessing. For example, there was a problem with dates, and the dates on the monument sign indicated between '70-'71: which year should you use for the problem? There was also a facade stone with two letters, and the question was: which letter (singular) is on it? You guessed the first letter, which should have been the second letter. If you got it wrong, you didn't get a second chance. After being told that you could complete the escape, but not with enough correct answers, the children were obviously not motivated enough to continue.

We didn't know what to expect beforehand, so we went in with two adults and two children (7 and 9) with a neutral mindset. We really enjoyed it! You see monuments you wouldn't normally see, and each time, a little bit of information about the location/history was also very enjoyable. There's plenty for children to help, search for, and think about. We wouldn't recommend it for children younger than 7, as it's still hard to understand, and the walking distance might be too long. We felt two of the assignments were incorrect (the order of the three images on the church in the app and the last question through the peephole didn't make sense). That was sometimes frustrating. Also, giving an answer with one letter misspelled is immediately marked as incorrect, so you don't get any clues. All in all, it's fun to do once!

A fun and interactive way to take a city walk. Our three teenagers, who don't like walking, really enjoyed it too. The directions weren't always clear, but with a bit of searching and creativity, it was doable. We were done in two hours. We had a leisurely walk and even looked inside the pepper pot.

Very nice walk through the city to see a lot of the historical places. The escape experience story tells a lot of historical facts and some fiction to keep the game going on. Due to some of the nice buildings, which were open for visit, we were not able to complete within the 2 hours. However there were enough hints to finish the game and find the final (hidden) location.

Unfortunately, the dates couldn't be found on the buildings, and initially we had to ask people who lived there for the next clue. Or maybe we just didn't get it, which is also possible, of course. But we have experience with city escapes; this one wasn't accurate, so we stopped. It's a lot of money for something that doesn't seem to work anymore! I really want my money back. €25 is way too much! The app also uses up a lot of battery!
