On Day 1, your adventure begins with a visit to Pre Rup Temple, a striking example of Khmer architecture known for its pyramid-like structure. Next, you'll head to Banteay Srei Temple, often referred to as the "Citadel of Women," which is renowned for its exquisite pink sandstone carvings, showcasing the unique Banteay Srei style. The tour continues to East Mebon Temple, a 10th-century temple built in the middle of a large reservoir, followed by Ta Som Temple, a small yet picturesque temple. Afterward, you will visit Neak Pean, a temple set on an artificial island in the middle of a baray, and Preah Khan Temple, which is still largely covered by the jungle. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant, giving you a chance to taste traditional Cambodian dishes. Afterward, the day ends with a stunning sunset view from Bakheng Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the Angkor archaeological park.
Day 2 begins early with the iconic sunrise at Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Built by King Suryavarman II, Angkor Wat spans 330 meters by 260 meters and features five towering spires that represent Mount Meru. It’s not just a symbol of Cambodia, but also an architectural masterpiece. After sunrise, you’ll explore Angkor Thom, the ancient walled city, beginning with the South Gate, followed by Bayon Temple, famous for its 216 stone faces of Avalokiteshvara, symbolizing the compassion of the king. You will also visit the Royal Palace site, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Elephant Terrace, which were used for royal ceremonies and grand processions.
Your day continues with a visit to Baphuon Temple, an impressive pyramid-like structure built in the 11th century, followed by Ta Prohm Temple. Known for its appearance in the movie "Tomb Raider," Ta Prohm is famous for its overgrown trees and roots that have intertwined with the ancient stones, making it one of the most visually captivating temples in the Angkor complex. After experiencing these breathtaking sights, your tour concludes, and you’ll be transferred back to your hotel, reflecting on the grandeur and history of Cambodia's ancient temples.

A LOVELY temple. The most detailed and beautiful of them all! The whole area around is so peaceful and green, love what they have done with the entrance, and all the surroundings. Just the ride out there is an adventure itself! I love this countryside! If you have time, don’t miss out on this little pearl 💛

The temple we enjoyed the most! It is small but so precisely built. There is a reason why the call it diamond of Angkor. I really enjoyed walk around the temple area. Don’t miss it.

By far one of the most detailed and intricately carved temple of them all, certainly the reddish pink sandstone sets it apart from all the others, the only thing lacking, compared to the rest is its size. No trip to see the temples would be complete without a visit to this temple. I've been here three or four times and every time i see something i hadn't seen before. The carvings seem to be so realistically executed, it's incredible for the large amount of detail they fit in such a small space. For my money, it is a must see on any temple hunter's agenda. Be sure to bring binoculars or telephoto lens cause a lot of it is roped off to avoid damage from traffic and people rubbing the carvings.

Went here as a recommendation by a local and it was so gorgeous, one of our favorite temples we visited. Also nice to get away from the crowds at Angkor Thom on a Saturday. Booked our Tuk Tuk through grab and he offered to stay to return us home after. I’m not sure without that offer that we would’ve gotten a ride back to done-quite far and isolated north.

Banteay Srie is the most beautiful and intricate Carvings Temple in Angkor Complex. If you want to see this temple, I recommend you to do in the morning.
