This is a must. Traveled from Merida on a 5+ hour trip, and its completely worth it. I used an Travel Agency and they covered the boat ride, you can purchase beverages and somes snacks to take on the boat. The boat will stop arround 4 places and you will be able to get off and swim, the water is very shallow approximately 60cm deep. The boat will go into three cenotes that are right next to the lagoon and those a re deep from 70 to 100 meters. They allow you to swim there but only with life vests.

Beautiful blue waters! You can swim in the EcoPark at the end of the boardwalk. Waters are shallow and warm. Entry fee is 20 pesos.

This is perhaps the most beautiful place in Mexico. A very delicate environment as visitors we need to pay extra attention to keep as clean as possible.

Pedritos tour de bacalar was great. They took us to 3 famous cenotes on the 7 color lagoon, giving us information and facts about the lagoon and cenotes. Ensure to take your swim suits and jump in the lake to enjoy the fresh emerald waters. A light fruit snack, soft and not so soft drinks are served.

Beautiful place to visit. Similar to holbox, but you need a boat to take you to the good spots. That's the only thing that sets holbox above bacalar. Take a boat tour and bring some beer to enjoy the clear waters!
