My sister and I visited Battambang, Siem Reap and Kratie in October. We were seeking an English-speaking driver who could transport us safely between towns and provide tours in-town too. I came across Sophron, a highly recommended driver and guide on Tripadvisor, Facebook and other sites. As he was unavailable, he provided 2 drivers, Sarak and Ath but they were so much more. At the end of our journey, we had covered our wish list but more importantly it’s the warm human connections made that we remember most. Sophorn oversaw the coordination and scheduling with professionalism and ease. His communication was prompt, transparent and planning seamless. The drivers were punctual and always accommodating. We had Sophorn as our guide for the highlights of Angkor Tour and were delighted with his care of us and knowledge of the history of Angkor. Sophorn is very knowledgeable and made the history of Angkor intresting. He would point out little bits and pieces and explain them in a way that stopped me from being overwhelmed.
