Top notch experience! We have been on many and came back because we loved this one so much the first time. Everyone is incredible and makes you feel at home. The food and drinks are amazing. Excellent service from Jose and Chuy, went above and beyond to make everyone feel safe. We did the private tour from Punta de Mita and couldn’t be happier. The boat ride was short and smooth. Access to Palya Escondida (Playa del Amor) requires some basic fitness level as you’ll need to swim through a cave tunnel which might look and feel confronting to first time ocean swimmers due to the current/swell but staff was extremely helpful and calm at navigating my 70 yr old parents safely through it. Honestly, I don’t think they would have made it on a bigger group ha. Thanks so much !

We had an incredible time on the water. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and educated us about the marine life and staff was kind and helpful to everyone. We all had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sailboat. We saw whales, turtles, and rays. What an experience! The sea conditions and jellyfish kept us from snorkeling, even still I would go again and highly recommend! They were mindful and conscious of conservation and preservation! A sustainable organization and people doing their part to care for our ocean and its inhabitants! The food and drinks were lovely too! We will be back!

Amazing! What a day, it was the best part of our entire trip! However, don't take the swim lightly. We exercise regularly and found it easy, but there were people on our tour that vomited from over exertion during the swim from the boat. Basically, don't neglect the fact that the ocean can be a risky place and that you have to be able to carry yourself in the water. *You are 2.5 hours sail out from land. We saw so many whales, one breached the water right in front of our boat, we had endless margaritas after the swim & delicious food! Special shout out to Ricardo & the team on board, we felt super safe and well looked after. This tour is for adventurous people! Core memories made.

Rueben was a fantastic tour guide and David was a great driver. We saw a ton of fish while snorkeling, hidden beach was stunning and we saw around 5 whales as a bonus! 100% would recommend this day trip.

This activity was amazing. The island and beach far exceeded our expectations. Conditions for snorkelling were not very good the day of our excursion so our guides gave us the option to head slowly back to the marina but go whale watching on route. That proved to be an amazing experience as we saw more whales than we could count. We witnessed 4 whales breach out of the water and some whales even came as close as 10feet to the boat. There is no doubt in my mind that we saw more whale activity than the specific whale watching tours. We went in mid January which is when whale activity is at its peak. Our guides were hilarious and very welcoming. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. The all you can drink beverages did not disappoint as we had the best pina coladas ever, and trust me when I say… my girlfriend is a pina colada connoisseur. This is a must do event.

Highlight of our trip to Mexico! Our guide Ruben was fun, knowledgeable, and took lots of photos for us. The office staff were able to watch our bags during our excursion. We basically had Hidden Island to ourselves and we saw lots of fish during the snorkel. On the way back we saw around 8 humpback whales. Very cool experience!!

Wow! What an amazing experience. The week we were in the area it was a little stormy, but GRIMAR was still able to take us on the Hidden Beach trip. Rueben, our guide was so sweet and helped us have a great time. I was a little nervous about swimming through the sea cave at high tide in the choppy water, but Rueben was with us every step of the way and even pulled my husband (who isn’t the strongest swimmer) to the hidden beach. Rueben took great photos of us and let us have our space when exploring the beaches we stopped at. My husband and I are not in the best shape, but we’re still able to do the excursion with ease. I’d highly recommend GRIMAR ADVENTURES!

Able to book via email and what's app communication. Local operator with very small town feel. Get a more authentic taste of Punta Mita and support a local business! Not a big commerical business like Vallarta or Punta Mita tours so you can save some costs. Our tour guide Martin was great. Hidden Beach Tour. We saw whales, explored caves to the hidden Beach, did snorkeling to see beautiful fish, visited another secluded Beach. It was awesome! If you want a nice tour with a hometown feel instead of a commercial product this is the way to go. We had a small group of 4 people which made it even more personal. Definitely recommend using Grimar Adventures!
