This bargain market is held on the third Saturday of every month. You can buy vegetables and fruits at bargain prices. While it depends on the seller, lucky buyers will bag even five items at once, so you don't have to wait in line again. There's also a fun raffle afterward. The store opens at 8:00, but customers start pouring in around 7:30 to browse. If you don't arrive by 8:30 at the latest, they'll sell out. The large parking lot, which has two hours of free parking, fills up. On my way home after 8:00, there was a long line of cars unable to find a spot in the parking lot. Instructions 1. Aim to arrive by 7:30. 2. Some sellers will even go out of their way to pick up vegetables next to your desired vegetable. 3. Popular fruits sell out quickly, so line up early. 4. Line up with at least two people. 5. After buying, line up early for the lottery, or you'll miss the line.

観光地で青果市場の見学したい人にはいいかも。食事は青果にあまり関係なく割高感がある。

This is one of the few places in Japan where you can watch a fruit and vegetable auction. The souvenirs were mostly unrelated to fruit and vegetable auctions, such as dried goods and meat, but the viewing route was well-maintained and there was plenty of explanation about the facilities, so it was a good place for sightseeing. The Veggie Fruit Festival on the third Saturday of every month is apparently a good place for shopping. The vegetables collected here were served at the hotel buffet across the street.

It doesn't have the atmosphere of a lively market, and there aren't many restaurants. However, it feels like a good deal. Since it's advertised as a stadium (market tour), there is a parking fee, but if you just eat and drink and leave, it's essentially free.

This vegetable market is located in Fukuoka City. Buses depart from Chihaya Station and the Tenjin area. I went there around 1:30 PM on a weekday, but most of the shops were closed! Oh no, that was quick. I went up to the second floor and found a restaurant, so I went in. "Marche no Umami." The interior is spacious and has a cafeteria-like atmosphere. You buy a meal ticket from the ticket machine and hand it over at the counter. After a while, your order will be called, so go and collect it. The interior is new, with large, bright windows and a nice atmosphere. The view is great, with a clear view of the high-rise apartment buildings in the distance. I ordered Sicilian rice (950 yen including tax). I never thought I'd be able to eat a Saga specialty here... I'll go with that. The Sicilian rice that came out was huge! It was packed with vegetables, as you'd expect from a vegetable market. Pumpkin, lettuce, zucchini, tomato, peppers, red cabbage, corn... All the vegetables were super fresh and crisp! It was incredibly delicious! The soft, soft-boiled egg was also great. It was an energizing lunch. There were quite a few people in the restaurant, probably people from the produce market.
