Each stop offers not just a photo opportunity but a story shared by your guide bringing history geology and local culture to life. a stunning venue: lunch in a greenhouse! menu is simple, fresh and features a whole lotta tomatoes from the greenhouse… from tomato beer, to soup to ice cream AND cheesecake! i wanted something more substantial than soup so was looking forward to the mussels but its not in season. im not a fan of raviolis either. thankfully the waitress suggested i order from the kid’s menu - theres a tagliatelle with vegetables. i ordered that plus a seafood skewer. my hack: kid’s pasta (tagliatelle) + a seafood skewer, and sauce that pasta with some tomato soup for an excellent DIY dish. loved the tomato beer so much - like a lager with a hint of umami, as well as the tomato salt - bought two boxes from gift shop. as well as a cup of cherry tomatoes - so sweet i regret not buying more!! after my meal i was invited to walk around the greenhouse to explore. was so in awe of this space :) 10/10 worth the drive.

We loved this experience. If you love tomatoes and plants, this is a lot of fun dining amongst geraniums and tomato vines. You even get to snip fresh basil straight off the plant on your table. We did the unlimited tomato soup and bread and that was plenty for a filling meal. The soup was delicious and the bread and butter were so tasty. I would return again on a future trip to Iceland!

If your wait person asks if you want to hear the history I recommend hearing it. It doesn't take long as is quite interesting. Esp the bees. I made reservations and my wife and I had the soup and pasta. I have to say it may be the best bread I've ever had. The dessert was excellent too just be aware its in an actual flower pot. That has a hole on the bottom. In mid November the walk from the parking lot to the greenhouse and restaurant was covered in ice. Bring your crampons if you have them but you must take them off before entering. There's a sign prohibiting crampons inside, no biggie just have a bag to put them in if there's ice. Don't forget to snip some fresh basil from the plant at your table for the soup. And make sure to walk around and check the place out. Not something you experience every day.

The concept is very cool and innovative. It’s a totally vegetarian place with vegan options. You will be immersed in a real life green house with tomato plants and flowers that the bees pollinate. Don’t go if you are allergic to pollen. The whole menu is based off the tomatoes and their homemade pesto. You can get just the all you can eat tomato soup option which honestly wouldn’t have been a bad choice. You can get as much tomato soup and bread as you like. The other options are there if you want to try stuff. The ravioli with pesto was very good. The tortilla with pesto and vegetables was okay. We drank tomato beer which tasted like beer and the healthy Mary which was good. Although the coffee and tee are free if you want, The price is still very high for the food. Still a good experience to have. I enjoyed it

An amazing experience dining in a green house full of growing tomatoes. The atmosphere was spectacular and the staff very friendly. We had the tomato soup (unlimited) and ravioli. There is a table with delicious tomato soup and fluffy bread. We had butter, cream and a cucumber salsa on the table. Everything was delicious, and we got free water and tea or coffee at the end. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food and the whole experience.
