Pashupatinath Temple is one of the oldest and largest religious temples in Nepal. Every year, especially during Maha Shivratri, the number of devotees who gather here is almost double the population of Kathmandu. For a peaceful and proper darshan, it is best to visit before 12 PM or between 2 PM and 6 PM. The local market near the temple is also worth exploring. You can buy prayer items, rudraksha beads, puja materials, and other religious essentials there. ⚠️ Important alert: Please keep your camera inside your bag or switched off before entering the temple premises. Photography is strictly not allowed inside the temple. 🚫 Visiting Pashupatinath is a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience. For more travel related content plz follow me on IG Hrtourer

I feel very small to write a review on Pasupatinath Temple, as it is one of the most sacred places dedicated to Lord Shiva. The spiritual energy of this temple is truly divine and cannot be expressed fully in words. I really appreciate the temple management for maintaining such cleanliness and discipline in such a holy place. The temple premises are very clean and well managed. The priests are also very humble—they accept whatever devotees offer with devotion and never demand anything. A special appreciation for the temple security guards. They are extremely helpful, especially for tourists. Even though we faced some language barriers, they guided us properly and kindly explained when to visit for the four-faced Shiv Ji darshan. Their behavior made our visit smooth and peaceful. Overall, Pasupatinath Temple is not just a place of worship but a deeply spiritual experience. The helpful staff, disciplined management, and divine atmosphere make it a must-visit for every devotee and traveler.

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most sacred and peaceful places in Nepal. It is located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River in Kathmandu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is very important for Hindu people from Nepal and India. The main temple has beautiful wooden carvings and a golden roof, and only Hindus are allowed to enter inside. The temple area is always full of life. You can see sadhus in colorful clothes, people praying, ringing bells, and offering flowers. Along the Bagmati River, Hindu cremation rituals are performed, which show the belief in life, death, and rebirth. Though it may feel emotional, it is also very spiritual. Visiting Pashupatinath gives a deep sense of calm and devotion. The surrounding area is clean and well organized, with many small temples and monasteries. It is a must-visit place to understand Nepali culture, religion, and tradition.

My visit to Pashupatinath Temple was truly an amazing and soulful experience. The atmosphere around the temple is peaceful and full of positive energy. Being here feels very spiritual and calming. The architecture, the river view, and the whole environment give a deep sense of devotion and connection. The darshan experience was smooth, the surroundings were well-organized, and the place was very clean. Watching the evening Aarti was a beautiful moment—very powerful and emotional. I felt blessed and grateful to be there. I highly recommend everyone to visit Pashupatinath Temple at least once in their life. A wonderful spiritual experience. Har Har Mahadev! 🙏🕉

Pashupatinath Temple is one of Kathmandu’s most sacred and serene places. The moment you step inside the temple complex, you feel a deep sense of spirituality. The golden-roofed temple, traditional wood carvings, and the holy Bagmati River create a powerful and peaceful atmosphere. The temple area is well-maintained, and despite the crowd, the energy of devotion feels uplifting. The evening Bagmati Aarati is the highlight — calming, divine, and a must-experience for every visitor. Overall, Pashupatinath Temple offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and spirituality.
