This was an absolutely incredible experience. We had a very comfortable taxi ride from the cruise ship port to Bacalar. I was extremely pleased that the taxi they provided was able to store my moms scooter in a safe place since she wouldn't be able to walk the long port w/o her mobility scooter! We were met by our tour guide and captain of our poonton who were the best. Super knowledgeable on the Lagoon and its history. They took great care of us, kept the cold tecates flowing ,cut some fresh fruit for our kids and even gave us some mezcal shots 🇲🇽 We even got pictures taken from them and sent to my inbox upon arrival home 📸 We highly recommend this tour which even included a delicious taco lunch 🌮. Don't let the drive discourage you out of this tour. We disembarked late cos of grandma 👵 and 3 kids 😜 and still felt we had enough time on the tour.

We took a catamaran tour with Bacalar Lagoon Tours today. All five of us tremendously enjoyed our day. The sandwiches and fruit they provided were fresh. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. They took us around the lagoon and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend Bacalar Lagoon Tours, just make sure you communicate clearly where the pick up spot is!

This tour was amazing! We were picked up from our cruise port and taken to our pontoon boat. It was a little over an hour drive but it was perfect napping time. We had 8 people including my kids ages 5, 11 and 15 and our tour was private. The rich history of the area was explained as we toured the area and the two spots for swimming were amazing. Clear and gorgeous waters. One of them shallow enough for my 5 year old to reach as well. They provided an amazing floating fruit tray as a snack and all drinks while on the boat as well as tacos for lunch upon our return to land. We thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and beautiful tour and look forward to booking again.

Great service! Our group of 11 did the 5 hour private tour and it was definitely worth it. From our booking to our captain our experience was awesome. Communication was consistent and and clear at all times, payment system was simple and easy. We stayed at a lakefront Airbnb and our pontoon was able to pick us up and drop us off on our pier. If you are looking for a trustworthy, clean reliable lake tour this is the place to book it at!
