I took pics under water and the water temperature was around 18 degree in December. Winter is a bit cold here but if you want to swim in the crystal seawater, here is the best in this country.

"One of the most beautiful places in Malta. The water is incredibly clear—perfect for snorkeling or just floating around. It is a very popular spot, so it’s definitely worth visiting to see the views for yourself. Highly recommended!"

We went during the off season. I imagine that it is crowded in the summer. To get there you have to scan a qr code to receive a wristband. I believe that this act to limit the visitors. There are lots of tasty food and drink trucks there where you can get anything from burgers to calamari. The water is crystal clear and there are plenty of nooks you can escape off to if you aren't fond of crowds.

Blue Lagoon on Comino is absolutely stunning. Crystal clear turquoise sea, dramatic cliffs and soft white sand create a dreamlike view. People are relaxed, friendly and full of good vibes. I loved sipping a fresh pina colada served inside a cold pineapple while enjoying the trip...

Obviously a marvelous day trip if your in Gozo. However 😂 set of early to avoid huge crowds if the weather is good. Make sure you pre-book as many tour providers will try to sell you theirs. The times of sailings are approximate 😅 if you think like it's anything like UK, well don't... Ponce there it's gorgeous bit not like your ordinary beech experience. Super crowded and the entry to the water is rather steep and rocky. Make sure to get your pineapple drink 🍻 sun lounges are quite expensive. Nice to go for a little walk or run across the island about 5k. Make sure to book your inland pass on the website. Although they also book you in ashore before you board. Futile exercise as they still let everyone on the Island so gettin back off it is an interesting task. Remember, sailing times are not set and the colour of your ticket matters the most! You may still miss your boat as there's too many people booked for one boat, so get patient to wait for 2h like some. Or use your elbows to get on board 🤣🤣 it is quite fun. Unless you're with small kids. Either way, great day out with totally awesome snorkeling. Mind you we went end of October... Can't imagine summer time 🤣

The views are spectacular. The driver was nice. The boat was not particularly comfortable and nothing about this trip is lux or relaxing. Its a long boat with a bench seat on either side for 8-15 people. the closer to the front the bumpier the ride. Imagine kidney punches. The ride is about 35 mins out and then you see 2 caves in a drive by, and then 8 mins more to go around the bend to blue lagoon. There they pull up to rocks between party barges and let you off. Not much info, just do what you will and be back in an hour and 15. There is a hike up and around pass hawkers to get into the sea. With the setting sun the color of the sea is dark not blue, so that vividness of ‘blue lagoon’ is not there. This would have been better if you could pull up and swim off the boat. Never having to go on land and pass the vendors and crap sellers. It was an expensive, uncomfortable dissappointing first trip to experience the blue lagoon. This was not worth $55 usd each. More like $25
