Visited on june 2024 , ticket 17.5 , not crowded , headset with info in multiple languages , double deck bus . Since it only operates from 10:00 - 17:00 you should probably start early on and since it stops once/hour in each station you have aprox hour per stop (carefull because it can few minutes soner at you station then you will miss it ) . There are more stops than you have time so it is recommended to skip the fortress and the old town (if you stay there or near you can visit later) and visit the mountains , monasteries and the villages .

Me and my girlfriend love a tour bus when we go away and wasn’t disappointed with this one. Lovely views, learnt a lot about the history and went to places we probably wouldn’t of gone to. We got off a few stops and visited the areas such as the monastery and museum. Highly recommend

Really nice way to learn more about the region. The tour is impressive - mostly because of the route out of the city, but is a matter of taste, of course. Anyway, it's organized really good - incomparable to similar tours in Heraklion and Chania (in Chania, it was a worse experience ever). Personal advise: there is a stop on Chromonostiri where the military museum is placed - it is really great museum, they have an amazing exposition, the entrance is by donations. Generally, would definitely recommend this Hop-on Hop-off bus tour, but the only thing that is worth to be warned: undoubtedly take a cap on if you would like to seat upstairs, because there are no awnings.

It's a Cute way of seeing the old town. It takes you around the landmarks within the old town area only , if you want to see the land marks within Rethymnon itself the open top bus is a better choice. But if you want a mini scenic tour, then hop on the litte train. It is reasonably priced also.
