The tour begins with a scenic drive south through the wild and traditional landscapes of Crete, leading to the picturesque village of Agia Galini. Guests have approximately one and a half hours to enjoy a coffee, take a leisurely walk through the charming alleys, and soak in the authentic atmosphere of this coastal village. The journey continues to Matala, a world-famous destination known for its striking neolithic caves that line the bay. These caves were once home to a hippie commune in the 1970s. Visitors are given three hours of free time to swim, relax on the sandy beach, or simply explore the unique surroundings.

On the return route, the tour includes a photo stop at the village of Spili, famous for its lion-head fountains, providing a perfect opportunity to capture memories of Crete’s traditional architecture and culture. Later, the group makes a one-hour visit to a botanical garden, where guests can enjoy a peaceful stroll among the local flora or relax at the on-site café. The tour combines scenic drives, historical exploration, and ample time for relaxation, offering a well-rounded experience of southern Crete’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

A wonderful herbal paradise for lovers of herbs and nature. Beautiful walking trails around the gardens and along the river. Utterly amazing selection in apothecary shop with rows and rows of herbs, potions and herbal products. Delicious gluten and dairy free courgette fritters in restaurant with lovely views and served by two robot waitresses Katiebot and Bellabot. A grand day out.

We stopped here for a coffee. But if you like tea this is the place to be. I think you can make a choice between almost 100 different kinds of tea, there is even a blue tea! And you can buy the also a d baby, many different herbs. Food is very good. And, if you have time, you can make a nice walk in the Botanic garden. It was a nice surprise stop "en route ".

I didn’t get the chance to wander around the garden, but the shop itself was amazing – such a huge range of spices, soaps, fragrances and more. They’ve got loads of their own products too. Definitely worth a stop, even if you’re coming from a bit further away.

Very beautiful Botanical garden with many things to see, River, Fruit Forest, cactus garden, old Mill, a church, a small lake and lots of places to rest and meditate ☺️ There is also a shop with many things to see, from essential oils to handmade soaps and from local products like oil and honey to various types of spices! I loved it and I will 100% go back! Highly recommended 👌🏻♥️

An incredible place that is just too easy to miss out on! The shop is full, and I mean full, of local made bio products that range from exotic soaps, to herbs, local wines and honey, to cosmetic products made by maravel garden. Everything very well priced and of good quality. The snack-bar was incredibly full of products, from a wide range of teas and smoothies to local recipes that are incredibly, and I mean it, tasty. We had a few traditional Cretan pieces that were 3.50€ each and two smoothies, we were full! Incredible value for money! And the service is done by a cute robot :) And if that was not enough to make you stop by, there is an incredibly big botanical garden full of every single type of plant you can think of, a church and even to small museums recalling the ancient mills of the area. It was an incredible find that really is worth a visit! Oh, and besides all of the aforementioned, you can also go wine tasting and do a Raki laboratory, very interesting and well priced for those who want a different experience! Be sure to check their website in advance as they have some nice events going on! Reserve this place at least a 1.5-2 hour time slot in order to experience it! The staff is very helpful and will speak to you in a perfect English!
