This place is a must in Rome. One and only. Amazingly beautiful inside. Very well organised, although the crowds are unimaginable. If you wish to go - 100% buy tickets in advance and search for skip-the-line ticket. We had such tickets and entered in just a few minutes. The place is worth to visit because it’s a home to amazing paintings and sculptures. There is also a place to eat inside, the food was delicious as well. WC on place too.

I’m not usually a museum person, but I decided to visit this one, and I’m really glad I did. The art and artifacts on display are truly impressive. The museum is quite large, and you can easily spend a few hours exploring every nook and corner of this vast place. I especially loved the artwork and intricate designs on the walls, ceilings, and floors. It was a truly memorable experience!

Second time I have visited and you see something new. The Rafael rooms and sistine chapel are two items you must see on Rome. The museum is very well layed out and take you through the building with no hassle. I have visited twice in November and it wasnt too crowded. The afternoon as less crowded than the morning. Get an audio tour and move at your own pace. The guided tours seem to rush through the museum. I have twice spend 4 hours enjoying the vacitan museum.

I visited the Vatican Museums today. Although my ticket was for 10:30, the long queue meant I only managed to get through security around 11:00. It was extremely crowded and a bit chaotic at first. However, all the waiting was worth it once I began exploring the museum. There are so much to see and learn — everything are incredibly beautiful and captivating. I was genuinely amazed by how stunning and detailed everything are. Additionally, I recommend booking tickets well in advance, as they often sell out. You could try to buy tickets on the spot and wait in line, but that takes a lot of time. In my case, I purchased tickets through a travel agent, and they helped me skip the line. That was extremely helpful, although I still needed about 30 minutes to get through security. Another advantage is that the ticket price is much cheaper if you book well in advance. Vatican Museums, most beautiful museums I’ve visited in my life ✨🍃🇻🇦💖

Book your tickets ahead of time. When you show up for your scheduled time, there will be a very long line to get in, however it moves quickly. Once inside, it takes about 2.5 hours to walk through the museum to get to the Sistine Chapel. The art is amazing, easily some of the most beautiful and opulent museums I’ve ever seen. As always, it will be very crowded with huge tour groups blocking a lot of the art. If you are someone that loves art, consider getting an audio guide or doing a tour. If you like to look at art but don’t need to hear the stories and history behind it, walking around self-guided is more than enough. You will need to adhere to the dress code for the Sistine Chapel so be mindful of that before coming. You are not allowed to take photos or videos inside of the Sistine Chapel, nor are you allowed to talk. Sadly, as there is a large crowd gathered in the center of the chapel, a lot of tourists do not respect these rules. Again, it will take about 2.5 hours to get to the Sistine Chapel because you have to walk through the museums before you make your way there. It looked like some of the tour groups were able to take shortcuts. Overall, we spent about 3 hours here.
