Begin your adventure early in the morning with a convenient pick up at your accommodation in Mindelo. You will be transferred to the Harbor of Mindelo, where you will board a ferry that will take you across the channel to the stunning island of Santo Antão, often referred to as Paradise Island. The ferry ride takes up to an hour, offering you scenic views of the water and the surrounding landscape as you head towards the mountainous island.
Once you arrive in Santo Antao, your local guide will greet you and take you on a comprehensive journey around the island by car. As you travel through the island's lush valleys, towering mountains, and charming villages, your guide will share fascinating insights into the island’s rich culture, history, and unique way of life. You will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional farming methods, the island’s geology, and the vibrant community life. The journey will also take you through picturesque routes, allowing you to take in breathtaking views at every turn.
After a full day of exploration and learning about the island's wonders, you will return to Mindelo in the evening. A transfer will be arranged to take you back to your accommodation, where you can unwind and reflect on the unforgettable experiences and beautiful landscapes you’ve encountered throughout the day.
You must bring your passport for ferry travel (you may keep a photo on your phone), wear comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes, hat, sunglasses (sun protection), also, bring a sweater for the cool ocean and mountain air on our travel (it is cooler during the months of November through March).
Type in your hotel/accommodation to see how far the attraction or departure point is.

As a group of friends, we had two wonderful trips. Day trip to Sao Antao Round trip to Sao Vicente The Cape Verde Islands were interesting, beautiful, and full of new impressions. Many thanks to Green Line Tours for the great organization and to our two tour guides.

We had a wonderful and special experience visiting São Vicente — all thanks to our tour guide Rui. He is super knowledgeable about the island, very kind, easy going and catered the tour to our interests — giving us many recommendations of places to eat and things to do on the island and in Cape Verde. We did the light house sunset hike and then booked the full island tour the next day. The owner of Green Line Tours is also very kind and stopped by our hotel to make sure we had all the info we needed for a last minute booking. Highly recommend and would definitely book through them again if we ever return to Cape Verde 🇨🇻

Today we enjoyed a beautiful hike up Monte Verde on the island of São Vicente, organized by a truly exceptional travel agency. One of the highlights was the visit to the charming tea house – and above all, our guide Paulo, who is not only the owner but also the founder of the agency. He was incredibly friendly, communicative, and his enthusiasm was absolutely contagious. Both Paulo and his entire team made this experience truly special. We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour and the agency – professional, passionate, and with a genuine love for the island. A must-do on São Vicente!

I done the full day tour of santo Anto with Green line tours. It was a fantastic trip and the guide was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything and really knew his stuff which really made the tour so enjoyable. It's a beautiful island and we got to see all the attractions in one day. Most definitely with seeing and Green line tours were a pleasure to deal with .

We had an awesome time doing a 1 day hiking trek through the Paul Valley and a 1 day trek along the coastal path - both on Santo Antao. Green Line Tours were easy to book with and answered all our questions beforehand and our guide Madu was incredible. He was super knowledgeable and we learnt so much from him about the culture, politics, plants and wildlife of the islands! I’d thoroughly recommend.
