Our family absolutely loved our private boat and snorkeling tour with Deluxe Boat Tours in Cozumel, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. We booked a private snorkeling tour on their 24’ Sea Ray, and it was perfect for our family of seven. We were staying on the Yucatán Peninsula and took the ferry over to Cozumel just for the day. From the ferry terminal, the taxi ride to the marina was easy—about 20 minutes—and cost 220 pesos total for our whole family, which was very reasonable. When I was researching snorkeling tours in Cozumel, I was a little unsure what to expect because there weren’t a ton of reef photos online. Any concerns we had disappeared the moment we got in the water. The snorkeling was absolutely incredible. We saw an amazing variety of sea life including colorful tropical fish, barracuda, sea turtles, stingrays, lobster, starfish, and beautiful coral with unique formations. The water was crystal clear, and the reef areas felt uncrowded and well chosen. We had two guides with us—a professional captain who handled the boat and navigation, and a second guide who snorkeled with us the entire time. This made a huge difference, especially with kids. He stayed close, helped point out sea life we would have missed, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. It truly felt like a private, customized experience rather than a rushed tour. After snorkeling, we enjoyed freshly prepared food onboard, which was excellent and clearly made with care. Everything felt relaxed, well organized, and focused on our family having a great experience. The boat was clean and comfortable, safety equipment was provided, and the crew was friendly and professional from start to finish. If you’re looking for a private, family-friendly snorkeling tour in Cozumel with knowledgeable guides, great reefs, and personal attention, I would highly recommend Deluxe Boat Tours. Deluxe Private Boat gets five solid stars! 12/16/2025, my family of seven—grandparents two, kids three, us couple—snagged five hours on their private ride. Booking lady Katia at the desk nailed every detail. Captain Alejandro handled the helm like a pro, calm and sharp; deckhand Freddy not only kept us comfy, he also guided the whole family for snorkeling, eyes peeled for safety, all with a big smile. And the freshly whipped up lunch right there on the boat—fish ceviche, tuna sashimi, tuna tartar, shrimp, guacamole, fruit, veggies, every bite busting—— simply delicious! And Kids lost it spotting stingrays, sea stars, so many beautiful fish—everyone laughed, waves rocking us gently. Perfect day:)

Excellent. This is the second time I take a yacht tour with Deluxe and they are the best. The service, the attention before the tour, the food, the captain, and the tour guide were all extremely friendly. Today we did a 6 hour tour and we were able to swim with several sea turtles, manta rays, and we even got to see a small shark. Our guide is an amazing swimmer. He dives super deep on just one breath to take photos of the turtles, and the pictures came out spectacular. 1000% recommended.
