Our guide Fulvio was amazing. As one of the leaders in the company, he contacted us the day before our hike to check in with us, which was very helpful. The day of our hike, which was a bluebird day. He was on time and parked very close to our hotel in the historic center of Sorrento.After our gracious introductions, we jumped in his car and drove over the hill to the start of the trail. In hackers term, it was a lollipop trail about 4 1/2 miles long starting and ending in the town of Bomerano. No long treacherous stairs involved. Just beautiful views of the Amalfi coast. At age 69 three weeks after abdominal surgery it was no problem for me. The company provided hiking poles. All in all this was an incredible adventure. A true bucket list item, if you are a hiker, when you’re in the area.
We did the Path of Gods hike with Nino and it was definitely one of the best days we've had during our holiday in Sorrento. Nino is so lovely and also hilarious and a wealth of information. The walk is simply stunning and we even got to stop off for some lunch and delicious wine at the shepherd's house in the mountains! If you're considering this hike don't hesitate, it's unreal!
Went on the Path of Gods hike today with Nino, and we had a superb day. The pick up was prompt, the mini-van comfortable and the one-hour drive felt safe (most of us fell asleep 😴). Upon arrival there was no rush and we had time for a restroom break before getting on the hike. The hike was easier than i had anticipated, plenty of short stops (in the shade!) to enjoy the scenery and nature, and very quickly we had a welcome stop at a local house for a drink and a bite to eat (more than a bite actually: bread, honey, locally made cheese, bruschetta and fruits). This was such a nice surprise to the day! I warmly recommend the hike with Nino and his team, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
