I went here midweek and it was a nice little vist that wasn't too busy. Inside you have quite a good variety of enclosures that is home to the variety of aquatic life. Each enclosure has a nice informative plaques in both Portuguese and English. I loved the one with the comparison of jelly fish and plastic bags and the explaination of how tutrles get confused as jellyfish are part of their diets, very informative 👍 The main enclosure is right at the end and is a walk through tunnel which is always amazing to see. There are a couple of souvenir shops plus other food and drink outlets inside to buy snacks. A nice day out but unfortunately I have been to the Osaka aquarium in Japan so it very hard for me to give the full 5⭐️, still a nice day out and im sure it will be a 5⭐️ visit for most.
A nice experience for anyone who loves marine life. We bought our tickets at the kiosk inside the AquaRio building. We visited on a weekday and it wasn’t too crowded, but it was still difficult to take good photos in the tunnel because it’s quite small and always busy. It’s not one of the best aquariums, and the ticket price feels a bit high considering how quickly you can walk through the entire place.
It was a great aquarium and the tunnel at the end that you could walk through was amazing. You could see all the sea life swim around you!! There’s two gift shops inside, one small one about half way through and a big one at the end. There’s also lots of fun things to do there because the aquarium is on the 3rd floor of building while there’s other activities on other floors!
