This full-day excursion takes you on an unforgettable safari adventure outside Nairobi, exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. The tour begins at Lake Nakuru, where you can witness the world-famous flamingos and search for wildlife including buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, and both black and white rhinos, making it a sanctuary for these endangered species. Lake Nakuru is also a bird-watcher’s paradise, with over four hundred species inhabiting the park. The surrounding woodlands and cliffs provide a unique habitat for large pythons, which can sometimes be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees, adding a thrilling element to the wildlife experience.
The journey continues with visits to Baboon Cliff, Makalia Waterfall, and the Rift Valley viewpoint, each offering stunning panoramas and exceptional photography opportunities. At Lake Naivasha, you can enjoy a boat safari in search of hippos, water birds, and other aquatic wildlife. The tour concludes with a nature walk at Crescent Island Sanctuary, where you get close encounters with animals in a safe and protected environment. Guided by experienced professionals, this excursion combines adventure, wildlife, and scenic beauty for a memorable day in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.

It was absolutely beautiful! Tony is very kind and welcoming and our boat driver James knew a lot about the animals and knew how to spot them. It was only my friend and I but it was not uncomfortable at all. We will definitely come again. Already from the boat only can you see the animals on crescent island, its amazing.

We loved the experience and everything went as agreed, in terms of price and timing. Our guide Shelton was excellent, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the lake and its animals. We highly recommend them; they are very professional. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼😊

I had a very amazing experience riding the boat at this lake. I think I can recommend doing it in the evening so that you catch a glimpse of the Hippos and further enjoy the sunset as you circle the little island and having some chatter. Good thing about the boat owners they insisted on safety at all times and ensured all passengers wore the life jackets and briefly gave a safety education session.

Was a great day on the water. Went to a preserve to see some animals, got a great tour by knowledgeable guide. Close to hippos while on the boat was a little nerve racking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our boating experience with Watamu Boat Rides Naivasha! From start to finish, the customer service was excellent. Tony helped us get connected, and Paul was an absolute delight as our guide. He took us up close to see hippos, shared fascinating facts about Lake Naivasha, and even fed a fish eagle right in front of us. It was such a fun and memorable day — highly recommended!
Karen

Vi fick se mycket av parken och vår guide Watson var både lyhörd och mycket trevlig! Vi är nöjda!
