Begin with Saqqara, one of the largest and most historically significant Egyptian cemeteries, home to the oldest pyramid ever built. Continue to Dahshur to see its remarkable 4,650-year-old pyramids, constructed long before the famous Giza Pyramids, offering a unique glimpse into the early developments of pyramid architecture. Finally, visit Memphis Open Air Museum to admire the enormous statue of King Ramses II and experience the grandeur of Egypt’s ancient capital in an open-air setting.

This full-day tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, and all entrance fees to the historical sites. You will also enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at a local restaurant and bottled water throughout the day to keep you refreshed. The worst tourist experience ever - first, half of the tombs which are supposed to be open were closed, with shady people around screaming at you and no proper communication or information. Then, as there is nothing on site like cafes, we had to go around the corner for a lunch. There was no info on the ticket that it is a single entry. After that, we entered again to see the museum, they checked our tickets at the entrance and all was fine. However, at the exit, they wanted us to pay again full ticket price, which was not substantiated - and they made the whole scandal out of it, with some fake people pretending to be managers/ministry officials etc.

It was very comfortable and fast to buy tickets because there was a lady worker of the complex who helped us and explained all the differences between various tickets. Finally we took the “Inclusive” ticket and paid 1000 EGP for each adult and 500 EGP for the 12 years old boy. There was a little line, but not too long. Important! You can buy tickets for all historical places in Egypt only by card, no cash is accepted anymore since 2023.

Needs better signage/information on what the tickets include. The Saqarra site ticket does not include entrance inside any tombs. None of the staff telling you that you cannot enter a place are wearing uniform so it's hard to know if they are being truthful or trying the standard "it's closed" or "your ticket does not include this" trick. Lots of people giving misinformation looking to make a quick buck out of tourists as is sadly the case at all tourist sites in Egypt. Definitely worth seeing but probably more enjoyable with a guide if you want to make life easy for yourself.
