Spectacular! Very impressive collection of ancient artifacts; massive space that is very well used and smartly lit helping understand old and new ancient egyptian Kingdoms. King Tut collection is second to none. I saw the golden mask before in the old museum, but the rest of his shrines, busts, wardrobe, throne and valuables really impressed me in how well preserved they looked and how much they tell on ancient life in egypt, they almost left no detail to imagination. The preserved mummies of his kids are something else, I did not expect to get emotional when I saw them. Visual aids are smartly used through out the space. Restaurants and shops nearby were very nice and clean. Highly recommended, well organized and clean. I took a tour with aided audio it helped visualize the space but with no tour would give you a higher chance to wait and absorb what you are seeing.

The Grand Egyptian Museum offered a fascinating journey through Egyptian history! The museum's architecture is modern and airy; the arrangement of the artifacts strikes a perfect balance between learning and visual impact. King Ramses II and Queen Hatshepsut's monumental works and statues were particularly striking—you can feel her power, elegance, and leadership. The detailed explanations about her era will keep history buffs engaged for a long time. Thanks to the information panels and interactive displays, we had an enjoyable and educational visit, even with the kids. The preservation and presentation of all the ancient artifacts is truly impressive. A must-see center for anyone visiting Egypt!

The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a breathtaking destination that brings Egypt’s ancient history to life in a truly modern and inspiring way. Located near the Giza Pyramids, the museum is one of the largest archaeological museums in the world and offers visitors an unforgettable journey through thousands of years of civilization. From the moment you enter, the museum impresses with its striking architecture and spacious galleries. Inside, visitors can explore an extraordinary collection of artefacts, including statues of powerful pharaohs, beautifully preserved jewellery, and everyday objects that reveal how ancient Egyptians lived. One of the highlights is the display of King Tutankhamun’s treasures, shown together in one place for the first time, allowing visitors to fully appreciate their beauty and historical importance. What makes the GEM especially appealing is how it combines history with modern technology. Interactive displays, clear explanations, and well-designed exhibitions make the experience engaging and easy to understand for people of all ages. Large windows also offer stunning views of the nearby pyramids, reminding visitors that they are standing at the heart of one of the world’s greatest civilizations. The Grand Egyptian Museum is more than just a museum—it is a celebration of human achievement, culture, and creativity. For tourists seeking adventure, knowledge, and inspiration, GEM is a must-visit destination. A trip to Egypt would not be complete without experiencing this remarkable museum, which promises memories that will last a lifetime.

Amazing place!! One gets a glimpse of history in its grandeur! Very well organized and planned out layout. Keep atleast 2 hours to quickly see all the exhibits. Also to mention the restaurant inside serves the most delicious quesadillas and that too so quickly! Great pleasant customer service too! Tutankhaman gallery was amazing! So keep I would say more than 2 hrs to visit and learn about all the exhibits. Would love to visit again!

Excellent. A must visit. We as foreigners had a free pass, meaning we were not restricted to specific visiting hours. As part of their crowd control measure, they limit visitors to specific time slots based on their booking. Excellent architectural design. Very well thoughout layout and illumination of artifacts with no harsh lighting that affects your viewing pleasure. It's good to have a guide to help you focus on the important displays, museum design layout if you have limited time to visit. We spent 3 hrs with our guide and it felt like a rush. You can easily spend 1 whole day there taking in all the sights. Highly recommended place to visit.
