Pretty simple and straight forward airport. No complications. However if you are arriving, then expect long queues at the immigration check counters. And even more surprising is the fact that you can buy your way out of the long queues. We bought vouchers from klook beforehand (around $275 NZD for 5 adults and one kid), and there was an official airport guide waiting for us near the main exit stairs, with a big board. He took us to a couple of empty fasttrack counters and we were out of the airport in 10 minutes. The airport itself isn't very busy, but looks beautiful at night. It is around an hour away from Hanoi city center.

this airport feels more like a domestic airport, many of the officers cannot speak English, some of the officers are also rude, both airport and airline officers (especially one of the Vietjet airline employees). the service and facilities are also ordinary, there is nothing that makes an impression. if I may make a suggestion, please provide some toilets with bidets, because most Asian people are more comfortable washing with water. I hope that on my next visit I can get a better impression. Good luck Noibai! 🍀

This is a very straightforward airport which I like very much. It is straight from the airplane to the baggage collection, the custom, then immigration and arrival gate... No hassle, no confusion. It's a straight line, I don't even need to check the signages. The departure process is also the same! Worthy of note is that travellers are required to remove shoes, belt and jacket at the baggage check (x-ray), AND don't skip the queue or take short cut over the tape barrier, the officers will give you a earful!

We arrived at this airport and the process was smooth and hassle-free. There were many SIM card counters, and we noticed that the further you go, the cheaper the SIM prices become. Similarly, we got the best exchange rate at a small corner exchange house, which was better than the ones right in front. On departure, the hall was quite crowded and hot — better air conditioning would really help. However, once inside the terminal, everything was excellent. There were plenty of food options and a wide variety of souvenir shops, making the overall experience enjoyable
