We booked the tour of the historical center for our first day in Madrid. It was a great choice and a great tour. Mihaela is really enjoying introducing the city, very friendly and knowgable. We also had “The Devil at the Prado Museum”. Miguel is friendly, polite, knowledgeable and cultured. His perspective is a really interesting approach much more tempting than the usual tours of the museum. Both totally recommended !

He also recommended great places to eat, drink, and watch performance, and provided a written list as well. The audio headset (€1 each) was not necessary for a small group. To say I enjoyed this tour was an understatement- I’m always interested to hear more about the local history and this tour provided a great insight into how Madrid was established, linking together the different parts of the city - the different walls built at different stages and the main influences during particular eras. It really gave me an appreciation for the roots of Madrid and definitely wanting to explore more. The humour, professionalism and personality as well as the in depth knowledge of our guide really stood out for me. And was so impressed to discover about the aquifer beneath Madrid that provides the tasty water! Super tour.
