Absolutely incredible experience here. Lots of options of broth, meat, and veggies. Chicken, Beef, Pork, Seafood and Duck is available as well as things like tripe, liver, chicken feet and even pork brain! Loads of options of vegetables and they have both deep-fried and soft tofu available too. Your broth also gets topped up multiple times during the visit if needed. Service was very quick and efficient. We realised after we left that we were charged for the self-service sauce bar even though we didn't use it. Other than that, really nothing to complain about and we had a fantastic evening!

A brilliant hot pot place not far from Dublin city center. Broth was really good and all the food was fresh and extremely delicious. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the experience, however, we were a bit disappointed with the service… As it was our first time trying a hot pot, we were asking a lot of questions and looking for recommendations. We didn’t get any responses and most of the questions were ignored by our main server. P.S. We weren’t even warned about how spicy the mild spicy beef broth is (which is very spicy).

Great food, friendly staff, and fast service. The atmosphere is nice and the prices are fair. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back.

This was my first time trying hotpot. Overall, this is a great place. The restaurant is bigger than it looks. The atmosphere is very lively, there are pandas everywhere, and Chinese music playing on the TV. Once we were sat at our table, we were given the menu/ordering page in which you self select what you want to eat. We did some research before and ended up going for a double soup base, 3 meat plates (which I recommend if you’re going as 2 people), a side of vegetables, noodles, drinks, and dessert. All that came to just under €100, which seems pricey but was honestly fair. We didn’t receive any guidance as they were quite busy when we arrived, but there are explanations on the menu and on the table, so it wasn’t a problem. We were happy with the food. The soups are nice - if you are not used to Chinese-level spice, go for mild (beware it is also very spicy). They didn’t have shrimp balls that day, but we had beef and lamb and both were nice. You make your own sauce and they have guides on that as well, which was helpful. I’d skip the sweet potato noodles as they were nothing special. Our jelly dessert was served early and so the ice melted before I began eating, so it tasted watery - I would skip it next time as the flavours are not interesting (jelly, peanuts, raisin, brown sugar). Service was not very attentive but once we caught their attention they were just fine. Can’t blame them as it seemed very busy. It’s a very unique place, full of Chinese customers, which does give the impression that it has that authentic hotpot experience. I was happy with my food!

I stopped by Chengdu Hotpot and decided to try one of their noodle dishes — and wow, it packed some serious heat! The flavors were bold and authentic, but the spice level was so intense that it overpowered everything else. If you’re a fan of Sichuan-style spice, you’ll probably love it, but for most people, I’d recommend going with a medium level to better appreciate the balance of flavors. UPDATE: After 4pm no noodle bowls like the one in the photo. Went back a second time and was told no noodle bowls after 4. Pity it was good and I was going to try a more milder version of the same thing I had last time. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had that cozy, bustling hotpot vibe I really enjoy. I’m definitely planning to come back and explore more of their menu (and dial back the spice next time). Will update this review after my next visit!
