Lovely place! Huge stupa where you can walk on and around. Please be respectful and observe silence. There are restaurants and coffee shops around where you can enjoy a meal or a cup of tea. There are also shops where you can find souvenirs or warm clothes.

This is a fully operated Buddhist temple, where people come on a daily basis or as pilgrims. You will see the endless curling around. The square is very nice, holds the vibes of old days. People sell some goodies, cafes offer food and view on Stupa. There’s a lovely temple where you can meditate, make sure you don’t miss that one. Entrance fee for foreigners is 400 npr

Famous Buddist Temple in Kathmandu . Ticket is required . Taken direct froom booth at entrance . To enter the main temple need to take off shoes . The temple has White paint on the floor and dome with column in the middle , buddah eye on four directions . Numerous Colorful flags hanging . Very busy spot with locals , religous buddist and tourists . Around it there are coffe shops and a lot of souvenir shops . Very touristic area . So mostly crowded . And the street near it is crazy congested with traffic cars , bikes .
