Experience an unforgettable day immersed in the rich history, culture, and gastronomy of southern Italy. The journey begins with a guided visit to the remarkably preserved archaeological site of Paestum, where ancient temples and ruins reveal the grandeur of Greek civilization. Your guide will bring the site to life with fascinating stories and insights, allowing you to fully appreciate the architecture, history, and cultural significance of this extraordinary location. From there, the tour continues to a nearby organic buffalo mozzarella farm, where you will explore the process of crafting authentic bufala mozzarella. Witness the milking of the water buffalo, curd preparation, and cheese forming, and indulge in a tasting session of the fresh, creamy mozzarella. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit the stables and workshops producing artisanal leather goods, including bags, wallets, and belts made from buffalo hide, combining history and tradition with local craftsmanship.
The adventure continues at a renowned Cilento winery, offering an in-depth look at vineyards cultivating the Aglianico grape, the variety used to produce the celebrated Taurasi red wine. A guided tour of the vineyard and cellar provides insight into traditional winemaking methods and the character of the wines. Guests are invited to enjoy a tasting of the estate’s finest wines paired with a locally inspired lunch that highlights the region’s flavors and culinary traditions. The full-day experience, including the return journey to accommodations in Salerno, offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and gastronomy. From ancient ruins to fresh mozzarella and exquisite wines, this immersive tour provides an enriching and memorable journey through the heart of the Cilento region, appealing to both history enthusiasts and food and wine lovers alike.

Great tour. Great place. Well worth the trip! You'll never be able to eat mozzarella from your local supermarket again after a visit. The pistachio cream is to die for - our guide advised us to ask for a dollop on the yoghurt in the cafe (not advertised) and it was an excellent idea.....we went home with two pots! We also ate a few dishes in the restaurant which was nice. I dropped a star just cause we were on the 11.45 tour and there was nothing left to see of the process but we enjoyed the buffalos

Superb visit to explore some of the specialities of the area and a great lunch stop option. Spacious well kept grounds with loads of parking, the separate buildings offered cheese, coffee artisanal bread and even a museum. The food was first class too!

So glad we took this place in. After a couple days in Amalfi towns this was the best break and best value too! Everything was superb! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked a tour ahead of time as we were a large family group. You have to come in the morning when they are making the mozzarella. Luckily, we were able to buy mozzarella for our week trip in the area. You can reserve your order ahead of time too. We were all able to see the water buffalo and taste the mozzarella. Awesome! We also had time to try coffee with the milk, yogurt (blueberry was the best), gelato, canolli, pizza. There is plenty of space to spread out. It was a great experience for our entire family!

Wow what an experience! Highly recommend to check it out if you are nearby! The best and most organic morzarella farm in Italy!
