No need to book with this company; most of their tours are outsourced and of mid quality, especially if you need English. See attached pics regarding their outsourced services and despite me sending them a video of the tour guide NOT speaking English, they didn’t offer any refund or even an apology. They charge a premium and I thought that meant they would do some quality control on their tours, especially the ones that are outsourced but no. So in that case, just book directly with the tour groups for a cheaper price since the experience is the same. I booked a 4-day package “deal”. Day 1: Cafayate wine tour, outsourced to La Quebrada Tourismo. There was miscommunication between Dexotic and the tour company, which resulted in me being picked up late and the tour guide blaming me for being late, even though I texted Dexotic at 7am (pick ups start at 7am) I was ready. The wine tour at Viajes Secreta offered NO ENGLISH translator, but at least you sip some wine. Day 2: Humahuaca tour, outsourced also to La Quebrada Tourismo. The tour guide was kind but she spoke very little English, to the point where another tourist translated for us. She was a phenomenal guide in Spanish, but we were lucky if we got 20% of that translated to English - which meant half the tour group lost out on information. I took a video of the tourist translating for us and sent it to Dexotic but they pretty much just said “oh, we’ll speak to the driver to let them know”. Basically nothing was done and there was no offer of full or partial refund. Day 3: Salt Mines. Fabio was both the guide and the host. His English was great and he translated everything. You can also tell he really cares to make your experience a great one. If you have to book with this company, ask only to go on tours led by Fabio. I ended up cancelling the fourth day as the overall experience was lacking and I didn’t want to risk missing a flight for a potentially subpar day tour. They refunded 70% of the cost, said it was a favor since I cancelled with only 2-3 days notice. As a general tip: don’t book any tours (with any company) during Carnaval (always around February, check the dates). Traffic was horrendous (all travel times were doubled) - and these companies DID NOT WARN us of this when booking.

I did the four day tour of Salta and Jujuy and really loved it. The long journeys passed by quickly because the stops for sight seeing and breaks were all really well planned and the guides were extremely thorough and interesting. I loved the experience and will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know that comes to this part of the world!

We booked full NOA package which consisted of four tours. On Dexotic website, it was advertised that you get bilingual guides. Unfortunately for us it was not the case and our first guide spoke very basic English and excursion was completely in Spanish. After a complaint agency refunded 2 of 3 remaining tours. I do not put 1 star because agency corrected "bilingual guide" to "guide" on their website and agreed to refund at least some of the remaining tours. If you search for an English speaking excursions you can try "Parada Norte Turismo" as we had great tours with them and really liked their guides.
