This unforgettable journey begins in Salta and takes you deep into the heart of the Jujuy province, traveling through the stunning Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and surreal landscapes. As you make your way north, you’ll pass through charming towns such as Volcán and Purmamarca, home to the breathtaking Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of Seven Colors). The route continues through Tilcara and Humahuaca, offering glimpses into the Andean way of life, and stops in Uquía, where the historic paintings of the Arquebusier Angels can be seen. You’ll also pass Huacalera, where the Tropic of Capricorn crosses the road, and admire the natural rock formation known as La Paleta del Pintor in Maimará.

Once in Uquía, you'll transfer into a 4x4 vehicle for the final leg of the adventure — the ascent to the incredible Serranías del Hornocal, famously known as the Hill of 14 Colors. This dramatic mountain range reveals a kaleidoscope of hues that ripple across the landscape, offering some of the most breathtaking views in Argentina. The panoramic scenery is perfect for photography and quiet contemplation. On the return, there’s a brief stop in Humahuaca. As the trip doesn’t allow time for a full lunch stop, it's recommended to bring your own food and enjoy a meal surrounded by the stunning beauty of northern Argentina.
