Our tour was so fun! Our tour guide Doug was entertaining and knowledgeable, giving insight on the history of Bar Harbor and spooky tales. He interacted well with all the visitors as well! The walk was casual and about 2 miles. I'd recommend this to anyone!

We love ghost tours. This one is very mellow, but very enjoyable. It is not so much walking as one would expect for a 90 minute tour, and we spent much of it sitting in places with a beautiful water view while the guide told stories. He was also ready with suggestions of “places to eat” and “things to do” in Bar Harbor. Unlike other ghost tours, it did not try to be creepy or theatrical. It is just another view of Bar Harbor and its history told by a history buff with his own ghost experience and a great love for the town. The pictures do not show any ghosts, but we did take them on the tour.

Such a fun and informative experience! Joe was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide and we greatly enjoyed hearing some of the haunted history of Bar Harbor. I would note that this tour would not be ideal for anyone or different walking abilities or mobility issues as the walking between sites is fairly brisk over varying city terrain. However, this was a great experience and we enjoyed our evening!

Doug was a great story teller and super friendly. He had a lot of great tales to share with some personal stories we all got to share. We also learned some very interesting history (I don’t want to spoil any info!) I had no idea about on the island. 👻 It was great exploring some areas we didn’t even get a chance to see yet. It was the perfect way to wrap up our trip.

Doug was our tour guide, he was phenomenal. Expert tour guide that shared historical facts about the island, had great suggestions about what spots to visit while in Bar Harbor, and shared some very fun ghost stories and facts about paranormal study/philosophy. Very friendly, sweet, and welcoming. Very fun and beautiful tour! I recommend booking the tour that happens during sunset for some stellar views! Easy walking tour, no hike experience needed. All on sidewalk, easy walk. 10/10
