Unfortunately didn't have a good experience this past Friday (5th December). We had booked a table for food and drinks and we were really looking forward to travelling into town for a Christmas night out. When we arrived, at the door we were informed without notice there was an issue with the chef if we were looking for food, but we could get drinks. It wasn't much notice to book food elsewhere so we went inside, and the waitress informed us there were some dishes we could order. We pretty much ordered everything on offer, and were so disappointed with how it came. The crackers with the hummus were stale, the croquettes were so overdone we could barely chew. We haven't had an experience like this where we have left food behind, we aren't usually fussy. It still doesn't sit well with me that we spent that money for what we got. I will give credit for the waitress and barman who were very friendly and I understand it wasn't their fault, and I couldn't fault the cocktails we had ordered. We were offered a complimentary drink upon giving our disappointment of the food, but still doesn't feel like a resolution for the money the food cost. Unfortunately put a dampener on our Christmas night out, for this reason I wouldn't go again.

One of the best bars in Dublin! Absolutely fantastic service with a welcome drink and even a surprise birthday cake. The staff really looked after us, and the atmosphere was just perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Last Friday, I visited the place, and I’m still impressed by the experience. The atmosphere is chic and exclusive, yet incredibly inviting. I was attended to by Andrea, and I have to express my gratitude. Not only is he extremely friendly and attentive, but he also clearly knows the art of making cocktails. Each drink on the menu tells a story so full of details that it makes you want to try them all. At the beginning, he took the time to ask us about our preferences and then crafted a unique drink for each of us, perfectly suited to our tastes. This place has made it to my list of favourites in Dublin, and I can't wait to go back!

Popped in for a drink before dinner , lovely spot , cosy. It wasn't particularly busy the day we went in however , service was good but a little slow. Cocktails were very nice. It's a pricey spot but good for a fancy cocktail. The food sounded tasty too but we were only stopping for a drink

The cocktails were great! The mixologist and staff were very interactive. I wish I had the opportunity to make my own drink while following along with the mixologist We only got the opportunity to shake it.

This was an absolute favorite activity for us. We were celebrating a bachelorette party. We all learned and got to take some amazing photos. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Carregena. The mixologist was very knowledgeable and did a great job.
