This was an excellent tour! I cannot remember the name of our tour guide, but he worked on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025 at 8:00 PM. He was an excellent tour guide, providing us with excellent storytelling, interesting facts, and allowing us time to ask questions. We thought the quizzes he gave throughout the tour were fun, as well. I definitely recommend going if you're in the Boston area!

Such a fun tour for spooky season! This was a great way to learn some lesser-known Boston history. Rachel was a great tour guide; she answered questions well and was a great storyteller. I'm recommending this to any friends who come to visit Boston at any time of the year.

I booked this tour with my dad as we had never been to Boston before and I wanted to get a better lay of the city before spending the week there. He had never done a ghost tour before but this is probably the fifth one I’ve done or so. For only $21/person, I would say this tour is well-worth the price, especially if you’ve never been to Boston before or just aren’t familiar with Boston history. I am not a fan of super gimmicky tours where the guides try to be too theatric or the tour has costumed actors so this tour was perfect for me. Our tour guide, Zach, did wear black and have a battery powered lantern which was just enough and he was such an engaging storyteller. You could tell he was passionate about the tours he gives and has so much historical knowledge of the area, which is what a lot of the tour was. The tales had a spooky flair, of course, by explaining the circumstances around which many of the ghost sightings in Boston could result from. I feel like we also got some historical knowledge that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. The tour group itself was a nice mix of different age groups, probably about 15 people or so. Since I was pregnant, I kept good company with the older adults and my dad who walked a bit slower but there were lots of breaks after walking and most of the walk was fairly flat. We even finished the tour outside the Omni Parker House Hotel, home of the Boston cream pie, and my dad and I had a great time going inside and exploring. Plus, we each got a piece of pie and my dad got a Boston cream pie martini. Overall, a wonderful tour and exactly what I was hoping it would be!

This was my most favorite tour in Boston! I really loved Julie's storytelling ability! She was a warm and welcoming guide! The stories from location to location were well balanced out with some darker, more gruesome stories, and some odd ones that leave your mind fascinated for days.

We had a great time on the Haunted Boston Ghost Tour. Our guide, Julie, was well-researched and a great storyteller. She left the group with ideas for further exploration, too. This is not a gimmicky tour with costumes and gadgets, but entertaining dark/scary stories linking to Boston’s rich history. This was a fun nighttime activity to do with older children - we got to explore a bit of the city’s history in a really engaging way - we all loved it (parent and two teens).
