My wife and I received a gift from our son to attend this tour. Jacquie was very nice and brought us to some great stops. There are a few reasons I rated this as just average. First and foremost, almost all of the market closed during or right after the tour. (Sunday 1:30) There was little to no time to shop elsewhere accept the stores she brought us to. If I knew this, we would have come earlier to shop. Second, we did not visit all the places on the tour. She brought pizza into the wine shop, and we were told to go across the street if we wanted to see the oil and vinegar store. A nice perk was that we were supposed to get 10% off our purchases at these stores. This was honored everywhere but the kitchen shop/coffee store where I was not given my discount despite letting the clerk know I was on the tour. Lastly, I felt a bit like I was in high school. Jacquie was a bit pushy requiring everyone to talk about themselves and even wanted us all to share our social media with one another. It was a bit much for me, but I am sure others were good with it. Overall, I thought the food stops were very good and was very happy with the quality of food. I just thought the delivery and planning were not great.

Chef Jacquie was superb! Her stories and tales of Philly foods made this tour extra special! We are Philly people and have been to the city many, many times but today we visited places we didn’t know existed and they were wonderful and the food was exceptional! You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure! My family had a great tour! Highly suggest Chef Jacquie’s tour!! You won’t be disappointed!

The Inside Philadelphia’s Italian Market tour led by Chef Jacquie was absolutely incredible! Jacquie is so knowledgable and fun! My family booked the tour as a Christmas present and it did not disappoint! Even though some of us grew up in the area we learned many new things! All the stops on our tour were amazing! We loved tasting all the delicious foods and were able to purchase some vinegars & wine on our tour! Make sure you come hungry! We cannot wait to book another! Thank you Jacquie!

Chef Jacquie is a vibrant, knowledgeable and fun guide to have showing us around the "Italian Market" are of Philadelphia! She is clearly beloved, respected and known by all the vendors in the area! Friendly, informative she explained the history of the Italian Market, the family ties, the development of the culture and keeping the spirit of the Italian alive! A great tasting journey of italian roast pork sandwiches and delicious square pizza! The cheese tasting, balsalmic vinegar and olive oil tastings along with the delicious cannoli tasting were just amazing! Well worth the time and dedication to participate in this tour!
