Despite the cold and snow, the tour was informative and fun. Our tour guide Rob Crean was excellent. His voice was loud and clear; he mixed history with humor so that we could be engaged throughout the entire tour; and he was open to questions. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t get it to work! We had to just walk through town to find things without it.

July 2025 My family and I were visiting Boston and were very lucky to have Ben as our fearless leader and guide for the Freedom Trail Tour. Ben was so engaging, enthusiastic and funny while delivering an amazing amount of detailed Boston history! I had such a wonderful time- probably my favorite part of my Boston vacation. Thank you Ben. I really learned so much! Keep up the great work making history feel real, relevant and relatable. 😀

We went to Boston expecting to do our own self-guided tour as we know our history but had never been there. In the interest of time, we decided to do the walking tour at the visitor center. We couldn't have been more pleased with the very thorough and accurate historical information articulated by Ben. If you want a professional tour, you won't be disappointed. There were about 50 people on our tour. I'd say that's probably the max that should be allowed to go as stragglers cause the tour to go significantly over the 90min advertised tour length. They tell you it's closer to 2 hours but ended at about 2hrs 30min. However, Ben was excellent at moving everyone along. He was very professional as he motivated folks to move along. It was the perfect pace. I thought we knew a lot of history. Ben schooled us and it was worth every minute and the cost of only $20 each. Phenomenal!

Coming from the other end of the planet with very little knowledge of US history, this tour was amazing! It gave me a good sense of the ideals that led to the formation of the US. Ben was an incredible guide. He didn't just throw historical dates and facts at you, he strung it through relatable explanations with just the right amount of detail. He weaved in funny and often cheeky facts that made it memorable too. Highly recommended

It was very well done and easy to use. The tour took my family much longer than the estimated time but we enjoyed it.

History can be mystery. The tour takes back in time what has happened and the history of Boston and how it played a vital role in US freedom against British rule. Our guide Mathew has great knowledge and surely spent lot of time to gain knowledge before he shared to the group. He is funny and open to ask questions. Also looks like he doesn’t want big groups as you get lost and tough to follow in a 2hr tours.
