This is a fairly new National Park site. Excellent learning opportunities. Traci, the ranger on duty, is a wealth of knowledge. She grew up in the area and it is very clear she has a great respect for the area. Wonderful visit. The coffee shop next door is incredible.
How Ice is basically acting out these same scenes in other cities is unreal. History does repeat itself.
Staff at the site are professional and go the extra mile to educate you on the historical significance of the sites. This is a multiple site excursion located in downtown Birmingham. Important to note most of the sites are outside, so check the weather before leaving and come prepared. On street parking is metered, unless you’re parked in a disabled spot.
