Pui was really good and informative, and made sure we spent quality time in both markets. I will highly recommend her and this company for this tour!

The trip was very good from the moment we were picked up at our hotel. Our guide was very good, helpful and happy the whole day, the 2 places we visited were first class, I would definitely recommend this tour.
Ann

My family and I had the best time. Our tour guide Pui made this trip an incredible experience, we highly recommend her! The floating market was a bit overwhelming but we did enjoy waving to all the people during the train part

I have never been to a floating market and this was SO cool. We visited as part of a tour so we were dropped off and then brought onto a boat immediately. They try sell fresh coconut as you are getting into the boat...you should definitely get one. It was served in a coconut shell with sticky rice and peanuts. Absolutely delicious and I wish I could have had two, one in each hand. We floated down through the markets filled with food, drinks, and little trinkets. I can see how it can catch tourists and I am sure that the prices are a bit inflated. Plus beware that it does get a little crowded with all the boats. And smoggy because some of the boats have motors running. Not awesome to get stuck behind those! If anything, it was cool to see how these businesses work. We also floated by what looked to be like people's houses. If that was the case, how cool would it be to live on the water like that?? Access to markets and restaurants and your own home by boat. Now for my standard comments. The boat that we were on was tiny but comfortable if you are not squished together. It was clean enough as well.

Top 10 place to visit in Bangkok, the original Floating Market not far from Bangkok city. You can spend 1.5 hours exploring the Floating Market village to walk across 5 bridges to take amazing photos. Have lunch & buy souvenirs, local art & craft to support local community. We donated to an 85 year old lady that sells food on a boat. Her smile is incredibly heartwarming. We booked a private vehicle costing AUD$50 per person with hotel’s reception to drive us directly to Floating Market & Train Market. We left Bangkok city hotel 9am & came back 2pm.

Finally experienced the boat ride at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Fun, lively, and interesting boat ride. Since we have our own driver, we asked him to bring us at the best spot; not some tourist traps we saw on some videos. We were given a two options of boat ride and we took the longer one since we want to experienced /explore the entire market. Enjoyed our almost two hours boat cruise. You can stop to enjoy some authentic Thai dishes or buy some souvenirs along the way. Highly recommended while in Bangkok. It took us 1 1/2hr drive from Bangkok so plan ahead.
Chris

This is the original floating market that is a couple of hours south west of Bangkok. Worth a visit if you have a day or two in Bangkok with nothing much planned. Probably best planned as a day trip paired with the Maeklong Railway Market. There are good and souvenir shops that aren't on boats as well so there is a variety of choices.
