This was a great exploration of food in Istanbul. We had Erol Utgun as our guide, very helpful, patient with the amount of questions we had about various foods we tried and also had seen in Istanbul so far. The food we tried was delicious, we also tried food that we specifically requested to try. Well worth the cost as you get to see both European and Asian side of Istanbul, and also see the differences between the two areas. I definitely now want to explore the Asian side more after this tour.

Erol was an excellent guide! This was so much more than a food tour. Erol is very knowledgeable and taught us about Turkidh history and culture and how they connected to the food. We loved what we went to places in both the European and Asian sides of Istanbul and visited places we would not have found on our own. This was an excellent tour with the best guide and we highly recommend it!

Erol Ütgün was a perfect tour guide. He lead us to the most authentic restaurants and has great knowledge about the food culture and history!

We really enjoyed our food tour and as we were the only ones to book it was a private tour. Having a guide to help us navigate the spice markets and ferry was very helpful. The food we sampled was excellent. It was really good to have the local insight into dishes to try and where to find them. We will look to do similar tours in other places we visit in the future.

Erol was a fantastic guide. He was a kind, spoke great English, and informative on history, culture, and food of Istanbul. Fantastic way to spend half a day, tried heaps of places I wouldn't have gone. Around 6 dishes, Turkish coffee, and a couple of sweets. highly recommend. thank you!
