Hidden area through the narrow streets. Local area where you can find other interesting spots if you are into exploring and seeing the Buddhist temples and neighborhoods.
Nice early morning visit to Wat Paknam. Came for sunrise to shoot some photos. I found it difficult to get very many angles of the Big Buddha even though it’s so large. The area is tight and there are just a few spots to shoot it from unless you’re on one of the little boats or armed with a drone. I had neither, wish I’d have brought my drone along for this one. Sunrise from the drone would have been beautiful. All in all, worth the visit and would definitely come back again. Beautiful temple and Big Buddha ❤️
Best place to take photo of the big Buddha statue. To get there, I would suggest you to walk or ride a bike as the alley is too narrow for a car to enter. It’s basically located in local neighbourhood, so be sure not to cause unnecessary noise for them. You may rent a private boat at this place for a better photo shoot experience. However it was a no for me as I don’t think the price worth it. If I’m not wrong, you’ll need to pay 500 thb for 30mins.
