I booked with Sail Ionian based on the positive reviews online particularly around the level of support offered during the charter. Since this was our first time on a bare boat charter, we wanted a bit of extra support. We were not disappointed, Sail Ionian were fantastic at every step of the way. Pre-holiday zoom call to help prepare, staff available in person at our first destination to help sort any minor issues, and dedicated phone numbers for berthing and technical advice which were answered within minutes which was extremely helpful for beginners making decisions at sea. Every staff member we met was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our boat was well maintained and, being the first week of the season it had obviously had a thorough deep cleaning because it was absolutely spotless. Even the customers were friendly! Tasteful blue flags help identify other Sail Ionian boats and a kind group of Germans helped us with our first long lining experience. What a great company, would not hesitate to book again.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday thanks to Sail Ionian. It was my first time sailing, and we rented the beautiful Kevala, 2019 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 catamaran for myself and 5 friends for the week. Our catamaran was gorgeous, and there was so much space for sunning, chatting, and lazing around. The staff at Sail Ionian was top-notch, and Di is just the loveliest person you can possibly meet. I made the decision to do my sailing holiday with this company simply off their reviews here on Google, and they met my expectations completely. There are many rival companies in this area, as its one of the best sailing areas in the Mediterranean due to the predictable winds and line of sight navigation, with plenty of suitable coves and harbours for mooring. However, this company helps you prepare well for the trip, the boats are fitted out to meet RYA standards, as well as clean and well kept. Always helpful and attentive at any stage of the trip. I can't imagine how tough it must be to run a charter company, but sailionian seem to have mastered the process to get a repeatable level of excellence for every other person we spoke to who had rented a boat from them. It's worth paying the little extra for the peace of mind that they will give you and your family to ensure you have a unforgettable yet safe yachting holiday.
