Sue was an excellent food tour guide! She speaks great English and has such a cheerful personality that made the experience fun and engaging. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Peruvian culture, history, cuisine, and even the local art scene. As a big fan of Jade Rivera, she added wonderful insight into the artistic side of the city as well. She also gave us great suggestions for places to visit after the tour. Highly recommend!

I recently joined the Lima Gourmet Company tour, and it was an excellent experience. The tour was highly professional and well‑organised, offering a comprehensive introduction to Peruvian cuisine. One of the highlights was dining at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, where we were treated to authentic flavours set against a stunning historical backdrop. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to explore the culinary culture of Lima in a way that felt both immersive and insightful. From start to finish, Patricia (our guide) displayed deep knowledge and genuine passion for Peruvian food, making the tour not just educational but also enjoyable. I would confidently rate the experience 4.5 out of 5 stars, and highly recommend it to anyone keen to discover the rich flavours of Peru.

Amazing experience! I did the evening tour with Sue who was a fantastic guide sharing her knowledge of Peruvian history and cuisine. We had great conversations on the bus and at the restaurants (and she patiently helped me practice my Spanish). She also scored us a few treats for the special occasions we were celebrating (anniversary/birthday). All the restaurants accomodated for dietary restrictions and the food was amazing - my highlights were the zapallo loche ravioli at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant and the Akira cocktail & vegetarian lomo saltado risotto at Guargüero. A bit of a splurge, but totally worth it!

This tour was curated well. All the food, drinks & fruits were good quality. The pace and group size of the tour were also good. Arturo, our guide was very energetic and gave a lot of information. My favorite stop was Limana, where they taught you how to make the best pisco sour & coconut ceviche. The additional 2 appetizers they served were also good especially the fish. The last restaurant we visited at the archaeological site was nice however in terms of the flavors of the food it was just okay, none of them really stood out especially after Limana. But I still consider this as very good food tour and would recommend if you’re in Lima. Bonus: you also get a walking tour to enjoy Barranco area.

My husband and I did the daytime tour. This food tour was not just a food door, but also a walking city tour. Amy, our guide was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. The selection of cafés and restaurants and the portion size was phenomenal. My favorite were the Lucuma milkshake, the ceviche experience and the Pisco sour tutorial. Loved the tour of the historical Barranco neighborhood, and the trip to the grocery store and the fruit tasting that Amy had arranged for us. Loved the culmination of the door at the Huaca Pucllana ruins and restaurant. Would highly recommend this tour. It’s also vegetarian friendly.
