In general it's a nice way to spend time with kids. Our children love the warm South Sea, big slides and mini golf. This time it was a second time we visited the place and the visible difference was colder temperature of the air (not tropical anymore imho), likely because of high electricity prices in Gemrany (last nuclear power plant was terminated last year 🤷). Besides the double racer slide was not operational. All in all still nice place but with slowly descending quality.
Great experience, especially in December! We had a really great time. The water temperature was around 32°C and the air about 27°C, which felt perfect for December. It’s a fantastic place for families — lots of entertainment areas, activities for kids, and plenty of space to relax. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you’re traveling with children. We would happily come back!
We stayed for three nights at Woodland Homes in the Tropical Island complex. Regarding the room, it was very clean, warm (we were there during Christmas holidays) and had adequate kitchen facilities. But there was no soap or shampoo. There was a sufficient amount of towels and also hairdryer. There was 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms.There is no parking in front of the house and it is a walking distance to the parking lot. There are not enough signs in the accommodation complex to guide you to the villa numbers, making it very confusing and time-consuming the first time. About Tropical island There is also not enough guidance inside the entertainment complex itself. On the first day of our stay, the IT system had a problem and the lockers did not work with the bracelets. This was not communicated, and after wasting an hour of time and standing in line for information, we realized that the problem was with the complex's system itself. There is only one person responsible for information. Most of the time, they have to cover both information and check-in at the same time, which means you have to stand in a long line for a small problem. The complex was clean and acceptable in terms of hygiene. The wide variety of food courts, restaurants, and cafes made waiting in line for food acceptable.
