Our experience at Far Niente was truly magical. We were lucky enough to secure a next-day reservation through Tock, and from the moment we drove in, it felt like entering another world. The long road lined with vineyards was absolutely enchanting, and eventually it led us to what looked like a grand estate. In addition to their famous and highly beloved Far Niente Chardonnay, we were able to taste several wines that aren’t distributed in stores, which made the visit feel even more special. The cheese plate included with the tasting was exceptional—beautifully paired with each wine and delicious enough that I wished I could buy it separately. While the wines aren’t inexpensive, purchasing three bottles waived the tasting fee for one guest, making it an easy decision to bring some home. The tasting felt private, relaxed, and thoughtfully guided. I would love to return again on a beautiful day to enjoy the estate even more.

We had an unforgettable experience at Far Niente Winery! A huge thank you to David and Flora — they were truly exceptional. From start to finish, they took care of us with every little detail. Flora greeted us with her warm smile and showed us around the property, instantly making us feel welcomed. David was incredibly attentive, checking on us throughout our visit to ensure we had the best wine-tasting experience possible. Their service went above and beyond. I would highly, highly recommend Far Niente Winery. I’d come back again and again! Thank you so much to the entire team, especially David and Flora. You both truly made our day. We can’t wait to return!

Great wines - the tour/tasting is a little overpriced in my opinion, because the tour is pretty simple but the tasting is very nice. I do think that for the $140/per person price tag we should have a more intimate touring experience, not touring in a large group. We were a group of 4 but put in a tour group of 10 people which changed the experience from what I had expected. No complaints about the wine - it is excellent! Also, our concierge, Jackie, was very kind and knowledgeable.

Gorgeous property and luscious wines. My experience could not have been better. I joined a small group for a tour and tasting, and was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome by our "guide" Cort. He was personable, knowledgeable, and fun. He timed our tasting beautifully and shared a great deal of information ensuring all of us learned something new about wine no matter what our current level of expertise was. The property is well worth setting aside some extra time to linger on. The owners were originally in the nursery business, and hence there are 2,000 different types of plants creating a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. I left with a box of wine and beautiful memories. Thank you!

The winery grounds were beautiful but we were very disappointed with our tasting. Not very personal, no tour provided and they charged quite a bit for this. The biggest shock was the pricing. They offered their Dessert wine for $110 for a 375ml bottle. When asked, they made it clear their estate wines and dessert wine were not distributed in stores but after checking we found their $110 dessert wine at Total Wine for $69! Not impressed with much here other than to say their grounds were beautiful
