Since I discovered this fair two years ago, it's been a must-see. A great atmosphere, well-organized, and a paradise for cheese lovers. The town is very pretty.

Great for trying quality cheeses from many places in Spain. There's plenty of traditional cheese, as well as some original ones. At the end, there's a food and drink bar, so you can enjoy the full experience. Highly recommended, even if you're driving from a distance.

The organization for accessing the village is terrible. You're forced to leave your car 2 km from the village; it takes 41 minutes to walk because it's uphill on a road with no shoulders. In the morning, there's only one 50-seat bus and another 20-seat bus. They run infrequently, and there are 45-minute waits in the hot sun. After 3:00 pm, only one 20-seat bus leaves. The organization of the Teba town council is very poor. It undermines the cheese fair.

A very pleasant visit. Very well-organized for visitors. The townspeople are very pleasant, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their roots. It's worth a visit. Ideally, you should arrive around 11:00 a.m. Park in the parking lot near the helipad on the outskirts of town, but there is another parking lot specially designated for this occasion. From there, descending a steep hill, you reach Plaza España. On the left is the covered entrance to "Teba Villa Condal." Following the covered area, you reach the Cheese Fair. At this time, when the crowds are low, you can fully enjoy the friendliness of the vendors and their tastings. If you don't want to spend too much time in an hour, you'll have seen it all, or leave what you're missing for later. Stopping around 12:00 p.m., take the first tourist train. The tourist train (€2) takes you around the town's emblematic sites and takes you to the foot of the Castle. There, you get off and there's a free taxi that takes you up to the foot of the castle. The taxi driver is very pleasant and makes sure not to leave anyone behind, both on the way up and on the way down. Once at the Castle, if you'd like, you can visit the Tower, which has been converted into an Interpretation Center. (Adults €2, minors free). A pleasant and informative visit, well worth the effort, and enjoy its teaching, enlightenment, and views. When you've finished seeing the Castle, you can either walk down the hill or wait for the taxi. It all depends on your physical condition and the day. Where the taxi drops you off, you can wait for the next train that takes you back to the Cheese Fair. Once you've visited that, you can continue to the Cheese Fair or explore more of the town's iconic sites. It's worth mentioning that all the sites of interest have special opening hours on the days of the Cheese Fair, the same hours as the fair itself. We went to eat at "Bar La Rubia," away from the bustle of bars and the hustle and bustle. On the way, we stopped at the "Ermita de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno" and continued uphill toward the bar. Bar La Rubia has tapas, but we chose Russian salad, XXL San Jacobo, and XXL sirloin steak. The four of us shared two drinks for less than €50 each. Everything was delicious and homemade (the San Jacobo was homemade, not frozen or fried). Recommended value for money. After lunch, we began the climb to see the "Iglesia de la Santa Cruz Real." The number of images and their preservation is impressive. Also, that day (October 5, 2024), its patron saint, the "Virgen del Rosario," was in procession, adorned on her throne. We struck up a conversation with the girl there, and she told us many stories about both the town and the church. She was very pleasant and informative. We continued our journey to reach the "Portada or Portico of the Casa Condal, of Empress Eugenia de Montijo." In the same square, we visited the "Museo Histórico Municipal de Teba" (free). The girl who helped us was lovely. The museum is great for those who don't spend too much time in museums: two rooms, small but very entertaining, interesting, and concise. We loved it. On the way back, we said goodbye to the "Monolith of Sir James Douglas." We stopped at the "Ostio García Mercería" to buy some sweets, water for the journey, and some candy for the children, before starting the steep climb to the parking lot to pick up the car and return home. We could have continued the day with the activities of the Cheese Fair and its procession, which I think was around 8:00 p.m. A perfect day, and we were tired from so many hills but happy. I recommend it and hope to return.

I loved this fair. The entrance was beautiful and original, made with handmade crochet used from shading nets, and the idea of placing almost all the stands under a shed was excellent. 👍 👍👍 A great quantity, variety, and quality of cheeses. You can probably buy almost all of them, so it's easier to choose which one you want to buy. There are tons of people, but if you're patient, you can see each of the stands. 👍👍👍 My favorite cheese is the Overall cheese, cured in a cave; one pass isn't enough. It could be better. There are no accessible facilities, and there were only two chemical restrooms, which were quite dirty and had nothing to clean your hands with. 👎 Anyway, a lovely experience to go and enjoy if you like cheese. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
