We had Rajiv Revandkar as our tour guide for the heritage tour of CSMT, earlier known as Victoria Terminus or Bori Bandar. We did jot realise how two hours passed when the scheduled time for the tour was 90 minutes. Rajiv is a passionate, knowledgeable, and punctual tour guide. If you get him, you are in for a treat.

Shravani madam was our tour guide. She explained about train history and csmt building history nicely. Some suggestions as Non- Mumbaiker: Please show some visuals for history like seven islands (a map will be useful), fort and gates, architect of csmt, domb of csmt(it is not clearly visible from there). You can use some hardcopies or tablet for this work. This will be useful for better understanding.

We went with two kids, aged 13 and 10 for the Crown Jewel of India walk with Pankaj. He was an outstanding guide! He engaged all age groups, was patient, was entertaining and had a real passion for the subject, which was evident in his delivery. I would love to go for many more walks with him, and highly recommend this experience for anyone in Mumbai.

Last 37 years were coming at VT station,but never seen inside station. Shravni has given information regarding the CSMT station very nicely.

Our guide was lovely but we paid for a walking tour with local snacks and were put in a group that were doing a free walking tour of Mumbai. Therefore, we didn’t actually do the itinerary we paid for which was very disappointing as we thought we would end at marine drive to watch the sunset - this was one of the reasons we had booked this tour in the first place. Our guide got us some snacks at the end but we thought we would be stopping in places along the way. This didn’t happen because the others in our group were not on the same type of tour.
