The ruins were fantastic. The boat ride was very nice to relax for 2 hours. High quality service but poor execution. We had a guide at Yaxchilan, Jesus, whom was very knowledgeable and friendly. However we were forced to pay M200 more even though the guide was included in the price. We wasted around 2 hours of the trip picking up and dropping off clients that were on other tours from the company to different locations. We only had 25 minutes to see Bonampak ruins before being rushed back to the bus. Although the ruins were spectacular, the entire trip was rush, rush, go, go and felt more like a money grab for the tour operator. We were taken to specific restaurants for food breaks. Food was fine. Yet specifically selected isolated eateries where there was no option to eat or buy elsewhere with the time provided for breaks. When the driver says that you can not buy water or snacks at the ruins, it's not true. Save your money and do the same tour for less cheaper operators.
