Love the patio displays on San Basilio neighborhood. The night we saw them was indeed memorable few of them being quite an amazing display of plants and old relics.
Sarah

They were free to visit and take pictures! But do give them tips!

The beautifully decorated patios of San Basilio neighbourhood of Cordoba was not something we had heard about. We went on a guided tour to this area, which was a lovely experience. Apparently, there is an annual competition of the patios in May and we were pleased to visit some former prize winners. The families were very welcoming and keen to explain about their proud exhibits, which were beautiful. We usually buy something or leave a little contribution as a token of their hard work. It was something which came as a pleasant surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Amazing walk, worth the money. Especially welcoming owners, open to discussing the gardens. The flowers are beautiful everywhere. Don't hesitate.

I went in August which was nice but it would be better in spring when the flowers are all blooming. They only tended to be open in the morning time and it's a good idea to have a good amount of coins with you as entry is based on a donation. Some had much friendly owners than others and hearing the stories was interesting.
