Kumar was hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He tailored the perfect Jaipur itinerary for me and my family, making sure every detail suited our interests and pace. The food spots he took us to were absolutely incredible—places we never would have discovered on our own. His local knowledge, thoughtfulness, and passion truly made our Jaipur experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

We did the Cultural Walk of Jaipur with Kumarji. This tour changed our perspective towards the city in a very good way. He shared so many interesting stories and anecdotes about the history and culture. It was fascinating to learn about the different handicrafts, handlooms and architechture coming into Jaipur and becoming one with the city. We loved walking through the markets and workshops watching artisans working with marble, brass, lakh bangles, perfume making, flower market and more. He was also very kind to take us to a beautiful shop because we wanted to buy Jaipuri block print fabrics. At no point of the trip, we felt pressured to buy things. Kumarji made us feel very safe and also offered us amazing Jalebis, samosa, bread pakoda, chai and the Jaipuri local sweets. He offered us to take tuktuks to some areas as well but walking was too much fun. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who is coming to Jaipur to experience it fully.

We had a spectacular day with Shoaib on my dad’s birthday. He is friendly and has a wonderful, encyclopedic knowledge of the city and its secrets. He was helpful and accommodating, and took great care to ensure we got everything we wanted done. He is also an excellent photographer and took fantastic photos for us. We are thrilled that we went with him. We will recommend him to all our friends and certainly engage him again the next time we are in Jaipur!

My guide Shoaib communicated well with me to arrange the pick up. He explained lots of really interesting historical details to me, about the city, and I had the opportunity to take some great photos. I wasn't pressurised to buy " things"- which I was very grateful for. I was offered help with other tours if I needed, but when I declined the offer he was fine about that. We ate some street food, the coriander crunchy things were the best!

Good fun. If you want to enjoy some street food and explore some of the markets but are a little intimidating about doing it alone this is a great option. Shoaib was very kind and tailored the walking tour to our preferences. Being able to be picked up and dropped off at our hostel was also very convenient.

This was the highlight of our India trip, to see the artisans working in there factories and see where they live and work together was amazing. No sales pitches or rush, Jaipur at your own pace. Kumar took the time to engage our 10 year old and held his interest for 4 hours was amazing. An unmissable trip in Jaipur . Thank you Kumar.

We went on two tours with Kumar. The cultural walk was extremely fun as we got to try some sweets, chai as well as very good local food. Kumar was also very knowledgeable and had shared many stories with us. On our city tour we went to many famous sights like Amber Fort, the stepwell, observatory to name a few. The car we traveled in was clean and comfortable and Vijay who drove us around was also very nice! There were no “tourist shopping” forced upon us unlike most other tours. I’d highly recommend Kumar!

Kumar was an excellent tour guide, giving us real insights into the lives of people who live in Jaipur and showing us some more hidden parts of the city. He asked what crafts we wanted to see most, and food we wanted to try, and tailored the tour to our preferences. It was great to also wander around the city in the dark to see the Diwali decorations!

Amazing!! Could not recommend it enough - we like food, and part of my travels is always to try local foods. I was warned back home to not try street food, because of the hygiene; water etc. We meat Khalib (our guide) the day before, and we felt very confident with him, he suggested nice restaurants to go, so we decided to further explore the food in Jaipur with him. The best part is that Khalib is actually from Jaipur, so he took us to the best places around. I had my favourite pani-puri, sugar cane juice, and other 4 different street food snacks and drinks. We also walked through the locals in the backstreets and the 400 year old market, the experience was like no other. In the end we appreciated Albert Museum and had the best Chai! Super happy that we met Khalib - he is fantastic and full of knowledge - 100% a must when in Jaipur Miriam and Patrick (www.miriammemoirs.com | @miriam.memoirs)
