Rob

Jake Doherty scheduled a fantastic trip. From Garmisch we saw the Zugspitz, Neuschwanstein castle, and the Chicago market. In Bergdesgaden we saw the original Krampus ceremony and chaos, a salt mine (surprisingly interesting), and the Oberammegau Christmas market. In much we saw the large Christmas market in Nurnberg, the Rathaus-Glockenspiel, the Hofbrau Haus, and Augustiner breweries, and two different markets. Other highlights were pretzel making, strudel making, and all the great food and restaurants.

We just completed our 2nd Krampus Tour with ATG and we’re already talking about doing it again. We loved the addition of having a mask making presentation and witnessing a full on Krampuslauf alongside some smaller, more traditional, local experiences. The itinerary just keeps getting better. Plus we made some lifelong friends and memories. Jake and his team are knowledgeable and experienced about the region.

Jake Doherty and his team walk you through history, the sites, all the feels of Bavaria - from the best tables/tents at Oktoberfest to pretzel making at Zum Bauer (in Garmish-P) to a Mozart dinner concert in Salzburg. It’s the right balance of experiencing the Oom-pah bands and drinking at the festival to learning to make apple strudel and walking through history. We had a group of 12 and all had a fantastic time! Highly recommend.

Had the best time! The company is very professional and offered so much flexibility with our day trip. We had a blast with our guide David who was so knowledgable and fun to spend the day with. My husband and I both had slight handicaps that David more than accommodated for!!! Well worth booking!!!!!!!
Janet

Jake and All Things Garmisch was by far the best tour guide and tour experience we had on our trip to Germany. Not only was he knowledgeable but also tailored our tour to fit the needs of our family. His personality and his storytelling made the experience even more memorable!
