Dear Management of Kempinski Marsa Malaz, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the New Year’s Eve event we attended at your hotel, which unfortunately fell far below the standards expected from a Kempinski property. The overall experience was extremely unsatisfactory. The service was poor and lacked professionalism, with very limited attention given to guests. In addition, the food quality and quantity were both disappointing. The portions were extremely small, and the food itself was not flavorful or enjoyable. Considering the high price paid for this event, there was a clear sense of excessive stinginess in both food and service, which significantly diminished the value and enjoyment of the evening. This was especially disappointing for a New Year’s celebration at a five-star hotel. We genuinely expected a much higher level of quality, generosity, and hospitality associated with the Kempinski name. We hope that management will seriously review these issues, as such experiences negatively impact guest trust and the hotel’s reputation. We look forward to your response and to understanding how this matter will be addressed.

This is a nice and neat place. Quiet,family friendly and good staff. If you are ever there for breakfast, ensure you meet both Walid & Zouhair. These fellows are 2 of the nicest and most courteous people who always look to help out. They really took care of my kids, and they felt like extended family looking after their visiting guests. 10/10 See you all again Inshallah

Our stay at Kempinski Marsa Malaz was absolutely spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the high standards of the hotel. The staff is exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely willing to help, making us feel truly welcome. The hotel is stunning, luxurious, and meticulously detailed throughout. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and the beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep. The breakfast is outstanding, offering an impressive variety of high-quality options. We also had the chance to dine at the Public House Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious—one of the highlights of our stay. It’s a real shame that our visit was so short, as this hotel truly deserves to be fully enjoyed for a longer period of time. A flawless 10/10 experience.

We have just spent 8 nights at the Kempinski Marsa Malaz and can say without reservation that it is the best customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptional. We ate at four of the restaurants and the food was exceptional in all restaurants. Three of the staff who we dealt with on a daily basis are an absolute credit to the hotel. Chef Talal who ran the breakfast restaurant was an absolute gem of a man and introduced us to different breakfast cuisine every day that was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Our housekeeping team of Mohammed and Amit cleaned our room every day leaving it spotless and turned down the room every evening. Finally Dominic the lifeguard looked after us every morning at the beach and again nothing was ever too much trouble. Wonderful hotel, wonderful location but what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Highly recommended.

An Outstanding Stay at Kempinski Marsa Malaz - Exceptional Service & Hospitality! We recently concluded our second stay at the Kempinski Marsa Malaz, Doha, and it was just as magnificent as our first visit in January. This hotel truly excels in delivering world-class luxury combined with genuine, personalized service. A huge and heartfelt thank you must go to Andrea, the Front Office Manager. His kindness and generosity made our stay truly special. We were delighted and truly grateful for the complimentary dinner he offered us, which was a lovely highlight of our trip. The commitment of the entire staff is truly commendable. Every interaction, from housekeeping to dining, was handled with professionalism and warmth. They ensured our family stay was relaxing and seamless. We were also greatly appreciative of the flexibility shown regarding our departure. The ability to secure a late checkout until 3:00 PM made a massive difference to our family and our little one, making the end of our vacation stress-free and easy. We highly recommend the Kempinski Marsa Malaz to anyone visiting Doha and look forward to making this our regular home away from home. Thank you again to Andrea and the entire team!
