Arctic Adventure with Reindeer and Northern Lights Hunt 6:30 pm

Your guide meets you in Kiruna and leads a scenic drive into the quiet wilderness, making several carefully chosen stops along the way to search for clear skies and open horizons. These pauses offer excellent chances to spot the aurora dancing above the landscape before reaching the reindeer area. The journey itself becomes part of the experience, filled with anticipation, stories, and the beauty of the Arctic night.

Upon arrival, you meet the reindeer in a calm winter setting and take part in hand feeding them, an essential part of their care during harsh conditions. This is genuine Sami life, not a staged performance, and your guide shares personal stories about reindeer herding and growing up close to nature. Afterward, you warm up inside a traditional hut with a fire at the center, enjoying a hot drink and sweet snack while learning more about Sami traditions. On the return drive, the aurora hunt continues with additional stops whenever the sky allows.
