If you're looking for the perfect blend of hands-on cooking, cultural insight, and unforgettable Roman hospitality, look no further than Rome with Chef. My experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and it stands out as a highlight of my trip. From start to finish, this was more than just a cooking class; it was a deep dive into the heart of Italian cuisine and tradition. The entire event was incredibly informative and educational. We didn't just follow recipes—we learned the "why" behind the techniques, the importance of seasonal ingredients, and the stories that make each dish a part of Rome's history. A particularly fun and unexpected highlight was learning how to craft the perfect Italian aperitivo drinks, which added a whole other layer of authenticity to the experience. The true stars of the show were our two expert chefs, Sherry and Gabi. Their passion for food (and drinks!) was contagious, and their knowledge seemed boundless. They were fantastic and exceptionally skilled at teaching, breaking down complex methods into simple, manageable steps—whether we were kneading pasta dough or balancing the flavors of a cocktail. They patiently answered every question, offered helpful tips, and created a warm, supportive atmosphere where everyone felt capable and inspired. We prepared a full, traditional Roman meal, and sitting down to enjoy the fruits (and drinks!) of our labor together was a joyous and deeply satisfying conclusion. In summary: Rome with Chef delivers an exceptional, authentic, and immersive experience. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to move beyond being a passive tourist and truly connect with Italian culture through its food and aperitivo tradition. Thanks to the brilliant instruction of Sherry and Gabi, you leave not only with a full stomach but with new skills, wonderful memories, and a genuine taste of Roman life.

We just booked the "Hands on Pizza and Tiramisu" for our kids, 7 and 4 years old, as a surprise during our time in Rome...and they have enjoyed this experience sooooo much. And we too!!!. The place to cook was close to the Basilika Santa Maria Maggiore and we were received by Larissa, a full charming, sympathetic, happy and nice chef who was the best key point of the whole experience. As well, Bia was there in the background, helping our chef and both of them they were wonderful with our kids, with us and all the customers (coming from UK, USA and Switzerland). We started with a glass of Prosecco (and soda for the kids) and after a good introduction, we were taken to the kitchen to prepare our own Tiramisu that it was a wonderful end for the morning. Later on, we prepared our pizzas 🍕 and it was so much fun. Result: HAPPINESS 100% and remarkable experience for the kids and parents.

Our tour guide, Anna, was amazing!!! She did such a great job of telling us about Rome cuisine. She was very knowledgeable and funny. We learned about the Dos and Donts and had a great experience with our small group of 12. 10/10 would recommend!!!
